| What is your ultimate dessert, snack ?

Trader Joe's chocolate covered edemame
Jumbo, roasted, unsalted cashews -drool
Corn chips, like Fritos or Bugels, dipped in sour cream and onion dip
Scooby Do fruit snacks
Blackberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches, plums, watermelon, bananas
My favorite desserts:
Lemon panna cotta with blackberry sauce
Peanut butter chocolate cheese cake
Blackberry pie/tart, warm, with whipped cream
Blueberry pie/tart, warm, with whipped cream
Chocolate Meringue Pie, warm from the oven
Chocolate covered strawberries
Blackberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches, plums, watermelon, bananas
Thank God it's close to dinner time or I'd be in big trouble!  | |

My favorite desert would be the frozen yogurt with berries and granola from McD. Pretty tasty and inexpensive but loaded with calories.

Posted: 5/23/2009 8:15:24 PM | There's nothing better than tucking into a freshly made, hot chocolate pudding with a dollop of cream on top. The self saucing kind. Especially in winter time, and its practically winter here already lol. Yum... I could do with one right now actually. Too bad I don't have the ingredients at home or I could've made one within 10 minutes :(
Another favourite snack of mine: homemade truffles! I love making peanut butter filled choc truffles. So delicious! | |

Posted: 5/27/2009 6:31:53 PM | basically, if it has cheese or dairy,vegi or fruit..Raw food is the best!
But prepared:
Saltine cracker, slice of extra sharp cheddar cheese and a Marshmallow on top, maybe a sprinkle of salt over that. Broil til the cheese and mallow melt, need just the right carmel crust on top. Amazing contrdiction of flavors.
Trying a smoked salmon pie like this, cracker crust, the cheese and flakes of salmon and some pimientos, maybe some sliced spanish olives, and the marshmallow on top. Dare!
I finally got brave enough to eat the mayo peanut butter banana sandwhich it was great, have not gotten the guts to add the famous pickle, does anyone know what kind of pickle it's supposed to be? | |

Posted: 5/27/2009 6:50:59 PM | I have a serious soft spot for peanut M&M's. I remember back in the early 80's walking from the barracks at Quantico down to the docks on the Potomac with a pound bag of peanut M&M's from the bx and something to read. That was an afternoon.
Recently I've become a fan of the chocolate macadamia nut clusters that Costco has been selling for the past 6-8 months out this way. Were it not for lactose intolerance and an ever expanding waistline I could almost live on those little beasties. Um, Um, good.
As for dessert, my homemade strawberry pie (sweet and tart) and sometimes with a little (ha !) french vanilla ice cream.
But, I try to most often reach for an apple, cold from the crisper.
