Though any of the funky bass line ones are awesome(Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Hyper Music/Hyperchondriac Music).

Less than a day until I see them live at Rod Laver Arena. My housemate and I are very much looking forward to it. Their reputation as a live band precedes them (and of course I saw them at Big Day Out in January and they were awesome).

And now listening to 'Sing for Absolution' - wow this song is becoming my favourite

Hell yeah! happened to go to London on a "business trip" to see MUSE at Wembley Stadium in June! Saw them in paris a week later. Just saw them last month in LA for my 10th concert. 11 is coming up in a few weeks! Right on!

Radiohead rocks too, even moreso!

At first I didn't like muse at all. Soon after I got introduced to Radiohead and realized Muse was practically copying them. I like Radiohead but Muse is OK at most IMO. I have to listen to more of them to really get in to it.

Muse is absolutely my favorite band, has been since Absolution came out. And as of yesterday I have seen them 3 times! I managed to get free tickets to the concert that had Uprising taped for the MTV VMA's, which was completely off site from the main stage. It was 13 songs, 5 new ones, and I was front row in front of Chris, even got a couple seconds of TV time! Awesome stuff, they really are one of the best live acts out there.

Did you buy The Resistance yet? It's had mixed reviews but I'm loving it.

I have seen them live in Toronto 3 times and I hate to say it but The Resistance is by far their worst album, it's just so tacky and boring that lacks the amount of rock that their previous albums have. The orchestral stuff really ruined it for me, Matt needs to shut up with the keyboard and play his guitar.

Big fan of Muse, seen them live a few times. Wembley Arena 2006 probably the best concert I've ever been to. They are the best live band in the world IMHO. Matt Bellamy is far too talented and I'm sick with jealousy!! A brilliant pianist, guitarist, vocals aren't bad either :) Looking forward to the new album.

I'll pick it up in a week or two, trying to watch my spending right now. Heard the title track, and it sounded like total Queen worship (which is a good thing).

I heard the new song "Uprising," along with their other singles, and I now definitely want to check out the rest of the new album.

After you hear the first 3 tracks the rest is just nonsense for 13 year old girls who are obsessed with Twilight to cream their panties over, it's crap.

Muse! Second only to Radiohead for my favourites. The new Album is brilliant. What is great about Muse is despite trying for a different angle/sound each album, they still keep a distinctive sound and style which separates them from what is perhaps more "radio friendly" and is yet still widely enjoyable thanks to the amazing work that went into it. Remembering purchasing Showbiz when it came out takes me back. My child-mind was blown open so-to-speak.

Like attaching a three piece symphony on the end of the Resistance album? Genius! I know there are naysayers about their new album, but to me what marks a great musician/band is one who can explore their musical aspirations in their work and still retain a certain quality. Why would I buy further albums if they were all Showbiz 1, 2, 3 and so on? Because the lyrics change? This is only my opinion however.

Plus they are amazing live. Of all the bands I have seen live they put on the best gig I have experienced so far.

How about the other way around? The Resistance is terrible and Black Holes was not better then Showbiz or Absolution, not even close. I have all of their albums and DVD's and have seen them live 5 times, I am a huge fan but The Resistance is a crap album attempt by Muse.

nah, i agree with my opinion, obviously
its a shame you feel that way, you're missing out. I thought Absolution was a vast improvement on Origin of Symmetry, then Blackholes and Revelations kicked its ass. The Resistance isnt a lot better than Revelations, but i love it for all the classical/symphony style music they have in it
