is what I say......!!!!
Unfortuntely nowadays people are sooooooo superficial...its all about looks....
looks fade over time......what gets me its I've seen so many people who get
married and then one or the other puts on weight for whatever reason, child-birth,
just being comfortable and happy, or exact opposite, eating out of boredom
or abusive relationship...for whatever the reason....we all don't stay the same
we change as our lives progress whether it be physically or mentally but the
big ticket is DO WE STAY TOGETHER,,, out of unconditional love???????
Big, tall, small, thin, who cares, we all have our own attractions and no one should be judged
by who they are or who they are attracted too!!!!!!!!! | |

Well Mecheng001, I can understand if you are not attracted to some larger women but I find your comment "stay in good shape" a little too narrow.
Three weeks ago Saturday I helped my brother install a 275 lb shower stall, a third of which I had to hold over my head for over 3 hours while he finalgled the damn thing into place. I skate, powerwalk, hike, do yoga, lift weights and I work 3 jobs, one of which I am on me feet for 4 -7 hours at a time 3-4 days a week.
I would consider myself quite "in shape" in this context, just not slim or skinny. Not many girls half my size can do the same or aren't half as physically strong. Are they more "fit" than me???? | |

Posted: 11/21/2006 10:37:58 PM | This argument could go on for decades. I'm a small bbw. I attract men who like bbws, I attract men who just think I'm cute. I have also been told by a few men that I'm too small (along with being told I'm too fat).
What someone is or isn't attracted to is their personal choice. I'm very upfront with what I look like--yes my profile says a few extra pounds, because more often than not I get told I'm not a true bbw.
I will not fault a man for not finding me attractive because of my size. If he's not attracted to me, he's not attracted to me...plain and simple. What's the big damn deal? Why would I want someone who doesn't find my curves appealing and sexy? Doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.
I don't find every man I come across attractive, but it doesn't make me "wrong". I've never said, "oh I won't date a bald man, or a fat man, or a shorter man". Attraction for me has a lot more to do with his personality, confidence, and sense of humor rather than what he looks like.
That said, my head still turns when I see a "hot" guy. I'm human. | |

Conquests sound like a one night stand...and I am way too greedy for that.
The price for meeting me and getting to know me would be a lifelong bond, be it as a pal, friend or lover.
If I do find the right one, the one who I marry, she will be my one and only, the "partner in crime", someone who I would look to for business decisions, one who be my counselor, best friend, consort, confessor (keeper of secrets), svengali, advisor, and lover all wrapped into ONE.
Oh yeah, must have a sense of humor and be a freak in bed, too (hot monkey sex?!).
For the time being, someone who I can go to the movies, play pool, have dinner or simply hang out. The girl need not have sex everytime we meet. But I will not turn her away if she WANTS IT.
The woman can not be a religious fanatic, but spiritual is ok.
Though I am Catholic by birth, I have a more GNOSTIC outlook.
I do not buy into brainwash: doctrine and dogma.
More and more evidense is suggesting Jesus was a man and not a GOD.
Some books say he may have married, had children and survived the crucifction (maybe).
When I pray it is directly to the Supreme Being and my prayers DO get answered.
If I met a woman who was very iintellectual and either was my equal or surpassed me mentally and wanted to have a bond with me, as a kindred spirit, I think I would be in total awe of that woman. | |

Since carrying these exra lbs around with me, I have noticed the difference in how people, especially men, treat me.
I am still the same person as I was when I was slim. It has taught me alot about men though.
It has taught me that alot od men are very shallow.
I now know that if a man is too shallow to get to know me because I am overweight, then thats his loss and definatly not mine.
And a man that pokes fun at BBW's is just a child and definatly not worth the bother of getting upset over.]

Managed to keep weight at average around size 9 tp 12 until injuries and surjeries kept me flat of my back for several months and left me once "healed" with very little endurrance and moblity in my spine and decreased cardiac strength strength requiring a pacemaker. Long story short, which is no longer possible (lol) I have put on weight due to severly decreased ability to exercose. Does this mean that I am less beautiful? On the outside, probably, onn the inside, I am the same person. I am overweight. I have "fantasy only" listed on my site and there are guys that won't even engage in fatasy with a girl that is admittadly overweight. What dies that say say for their ability to fantasize. My daughter, genetica;;y from her fathers side is very round,has been since puberty, and she found a man on line looking forBBW, they have now been married for five years. I guess it is justin the mind, or the lack of brain, of the guy. I have had men that are 5'3 tp 6'4 130 ponds to 28o ponds. I think it is more inportant to meat the person and get to know them on the inside before you base your opinion of them on their outward appearence. I like your thinking, Mysticroque. Unfortunately, however, even that's changing, and I think it's because of television. Look at many of the successful African American men and their mates - at increasing rates, they are skinny white women.
I teach at a predominately Latino school and my students (both male and female) are always telling me they don't understand why I'm single because they think I'm sexy because of my big butt. In fact, they're always trying to hook me up with an uncle - and it's not just the ones who are looking for an "A", because many of them aren't in any of my classes.
I joke with my friends and say I should move to the Caribbean, Africa or South America where I would finally get love for my looks, rather than the constant rude remarks, disgusted stares and painful jokes I'm subjected to here in the U.S. I'm 5'8" 200lbs, exercise regularly, dance like a mad woman, healthy, and still considered one who sits around all day eating bon-bons (I don't even eat those cause I don't like them!) | |
