You know, I have a fair share of ink myself, and whther it is attractive or not is all up to the eye of the beholder.. or whatever. If a guy thinks tattoos on a chick are disgusting.. he's obviously not the guy for me! I like what I've done to my body, it was my choice and I am proud of all the time and "apparent" pain I go through to have what I consider art on my body. So if someone can't handle that, its really their own problem.

Honestly Its just like asking if guys like fat or skinny girls.. or if girls prefer black men over white- Everyone has different taste!!! Even some girls don't like ink on men. In my opinion, its really not the smartest question out there..

One shouldn't base their personal confidence or judgementon what other people think. If you are happy with yourself and what you look like (ink or no ink) thats all that matters. Never change yourself to better your chances of finding someone special. Cuz that someone special should like you just the way you are.

I think its a personal decision...
I personally don't like tattoos on women, I have thought about getting one a couple of times, and then I think, do I really want to have this on my body for the rest of my life? Its a form of expression, it works for some but not for others!!

I think tats can be testeful or down right nasty..but that can be the same with anything. I have two myself the one on back is a memorial tattoo for my daughter, and I feel it is in a place that no one sees unless I want them to. The other one is on the inside of my left ankle and alot of people don't even notice it. I have never had anyone not date me because of them but guess theres always a first..

First we see folks falling off in their morals!

You know like they act like they never read their Bibles much.

Then you see pagan practices defiling the Temple of God.

Anyone out there want to put rings around your neck to elongate your neck as they do in Africa?

How about deforming one's lips and nose, that would be cool too, like 'stinkin Inkin' under the skin. Heard they did that in slavery times to keep the slavers from stealing their women as they were less attractive to the slavers. Note any parralell there?

Maybe many just want to leave their skin as an artwork like maybe the Nazis used to make 'lampshades out of Jewish skin'; must be a strange motive for such ink blots upon some out there.

Question is, is all this inking practice symbolic of a degenerate lifestyle relative to Biblical teachings?

THAT IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS STATEMENT I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE! "IT CAUSES PAIN SO IT IS NOT FEMINIE?" I' M SORRY DOES THAT MAKE CHILDBIRTH NOT FEMININE AS WELL. I HAVE A FEW TATTOOS AND THE GUYS I GO OUT THINK THEY'RE SEXY. IT'S ALL ABOUT WHERE YOU PUT YOUR TATTOOS IN MY OPINION. THAT GUYS WHACK, KICK HIM TO THE CURB! LOLO

Everybody and their mother has a tattoo now. I had all of mine done more than 30 years ago, a time when if you were tattooed you were considered a side-show freak. All of a sudden, its "cool" to get one. Pretty soon Martha Stewart and Oprah will have tattoos (if they don't already have them). Oh and its "cool" to own a Harley now too. As for the "bikers" of today, most are well-to-do weekend wannabes; CEOs, dentists, bureaucrats and candyass computer geeks trying to be cool (and blowing it badly, I might add). Remember this: You can't buy cool - you're either born with it, or you're not. Case closed.

When our Lord walked upon the Earth, according to the writtings that have been preserved for us, he did and said mant things.

Matthew once a tax collector for the Romans, a publican he was called at that time, wrote something about Christ said '...created them male and female and for this cause..', so there wasn't much need to harp on non-heterosexual unions nor out of wedlock sexuality to any length as it was heavily done before His time.

However, Christ didn't spend a lot of time on the alcohol abuse or drug usage; Kings and Prophets prior took great care in insuring that was an understood principle within Juadaism.

Could the defacing of your body, the Temple of God, be a pagan practice and against both Christianity and Jadaism?

Could there be great heath risks involved in tatoo ink and the process of aquiring one?

Why not just go to the gym, build your body if you want that much attention rather than grafitti-ing the 'Temple of God'?

*Where* does a Christian or Jew find scriptural justification of such a practice?

There is no right or wrong answer here. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. While some find it attractive others do not. The same can be said of men with tattoos. Some women love em and there are those that don't. Just like anything else about you. Some people will like your hair colour, eye colour, laugh, body type, personality etc. etc. Thank God for diversity. You have to do what makes you happy. Its your body. Cheers!

I find nothing makes a person more unique then having a tattoo. Some are sexy some are just down right gross. But it is an expression of who they want to be and how they want to see themselves. If you look hard enough you will find scriptures against tattoos. Does this affect my beliefs as a Christian does this make me a bad Christian? Just like anything there are those who get them as a fad and those that get them as an expression of there own bodies. I guess to answer the original question i find tattoo's on women to be hot and in no way wrong, i actually feel that it sets a person apart from the crowd.

Armouredknight. I would love to have a religious discussion with you. Religion is a personal choice. A personal choice we are free to pursue. Now that christians no longer kill those who don't agree with their dogma. Ain't that food for thought.

Religion is an excellent tool used for thousands of years to control the masses. Free thinkers were put to death (put to death) for speaking anything but the dogma shoved down their throats. It is still apparent in many areas of the muslim world and free thinking is greatly frowned upon. To the extreme. Even today. Kinda like the christians in the recent past. You want to practice your religion? Good for you. How dare you though shove it down others throats. You control freak.

OT. A tasteful tattoo on a woman can be quite erotic. Hear that armoured knight. I said EROTIC. Pray for my soul brother. :)
I thank you.

I have never gotten negative comments on my tattoos, actually people stop me to look at them and love them. Yes, I too will be an old lady with a whack of tattoos, but I will be an interesting saggy old lady and always colour.

It's not about what he wants it's all about you. If you want it then do it. He either likes you for YOU or he doesn't. Sounds like he is more into the physical attraction.

I don't understand the fascination that so many women have with tattoos. Some even state that they're attracted to men who have them. Now, I might be able to comprehend this if having a tat was some kind of expression of rebelliousness, but practically everyone under the age of 30 seems to have one...so it's become totally conformist. You're a rebel if you DON'T have a tat.

So, what's the attraction? I'm very curious.

(Personally, I dislike most tattoos on men and women. For the same reason I dislike most art. It's personal taste. I might not like the image/design, colour scheme, the technique of the tattoo artist, etc.)

A little one on the ankle or shoulder doesn't bother me.

If they are on the breasts or other erogenous zones, that turns me off. Likewise, if my woman were to look like a picasso, I'd be more inclined to hang her from the wall than to have her in my bed.

You'll never hear me say as so many ignorant of scripture who claim to follow the Cross and persit in pagan ways, that there aren't a lot of 'sick minds' out there.

IE. Talked to one who worked in a clinic that took care of those with STDs or various veneral deseases. He said currently 20% of the USA are carrying a sexally transmitted desease; 1 out of 5! But I doubt so many who are walking a 'dead lifestyle' will clean up their morality anymore than this nation that is so stupid that they allow rapists and pedifiles to return to society. I doubt the 'stinkin inkers' have any better ears than Helen Keller or thos Lot talked too at Sodom and Gommorah!

IE. I've talked to various Christians who had tatoos prior to their conversion; few are glad that made that pagan choice. Even non-Christians have shared they have regretts about their choices of tatoos, as it kept them out of the mainstream, in other words they were ostrasized for it.

IE. Knew a 300 lb. plus guy with a shaved head and peircings, and tatoos on every limb. He said we he moved to Tampa, Florida, the Mall security used to follow him out of the bldg. as if he was an escaped convict or felon. He said 'they treated him as if he was a Freak in the Bible belt communitys' of Florida. I told him "You are a freak, the whole world *Does Not except your tatoos* anymore than everyone excepts a gay lifestyle or swingers! it miight have been acceptable in the 'granola state' in Lost Angelos, but *Not* everywhere!

But who knows maybe after many are discrimanated against for looking so freaky they can always apply in a 'freak show' at the Circus!

I know many of you are just mad because you weren't around in the 60's for the 'hippie movement' and rather than go to the gym and build your body for 'positive attention', you find being a 'graffiti board' and since trashy is in, follow the low life look and who cares about the health risks of that needle and 'stinkin inkin'!

Like I said, just look across America, the insane asylum of the planet, you'll find some sickos that love yore skin graffitti!
