Hmmm.. other permanent things... your babies.. your baby's momma... some STD's... an impairment.. a disability.. impotence... the list goes on.. and on....................................................................................................
I love my tats! I love me.. and i dont give 2 shits if you do or not... what you dont like.. someone else WILL

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/8/2008 8:56:44 PM | I agree 100%, ziggy924....maybe it's my age or whatever, but I like my women feminine, clean and classy....Tattoos, smoking, potty mouths, poor posture, and poor speech/grammar are big turn offs for me!
I was a Marines in the 80's and never got one then...I sure as heck wouldn't get one now.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/9/2008 1:48:18 AM | 99% of the time I find tattoos attractive. Its strange the only thing I dont like is small tattoos on the breat area(think a rose on a boob) It makes no sense because I have seen full on huge chest pieces that made me drool.
But I will be the last person to judge. I have been discriminated against because of my body art, and would never judge another because of theirs.
I find it funny when people say "oh I only think tattoos are ok if they have meaning..etc" F-that. Some of mine have very deep meaning, and some of them were for fun. If I can look at one of my meaningless tattoos and smile that should be enough.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/9/2008 6:43:54 AM | Im surrounded by women having tattoos and piercings in what i do in the music industry. I have to say for me, its certainly not something im interested in. I actually look for a girl elsewhere,...do i discriminate against them? ....kinda and no ..its not a deal breaker...but...damn close. I have never met a girl with an "inking" mentality that clicked with me. yet im approached by them alot. Just cause im rocking out on stage i suppose i give that impression to these women. But for me, i dont find it attractive.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/9/2008 1:37:16 PM | | It depends on where the tattoo is. If it's a tramp-stamp it's not very attractive. I like the shoulder-blade tattoos or the ones on the back of the neck. Very cute | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/13/2008 5:44:30 AM | Some women on here are getting defensive and saying that if they want tattoos then they're going to get them...that's fine but you should also realize and accept that someone who DOESN'T like them may choose not to be with you because of that.
I always find it curious when people insist on expressing themselves but are offended about others expressing distaste for that expression when asked about it.
To CLARIFY, since some here have trouble comprehending what they read.....I'm talking about people who are ASKED what they think, NOT people who are making comments about someone's choices out of the blue.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/13/2008 7:44:36 AM | Putting a tatoo on a woman's body is like putting grafiti on a porche.
Of course, its your porche, so do what you want. Granted, every guy likes to drive a porche every once in a while. If it's just a joy ride, who cares what it looks like? But when it comes time to buy, condition matters.

Thank "god" we all dont all abide by your good book. Every temple could uses a splash of art.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/29/2008 2:42:12 PM | | Its a personal choice at the end of the day, you either love tats or you hate them! I probably have more than most girls and its a simple as if you dont like..then dont bother with me! Me personally I happen to think that my tats are totally feminine! | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/29/2008 2:52:20 PM | I don't understand what the big deal is about *having* them, either.
So you got inked... just like hundreds of thousands of others have - big whoop.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 5/29/2008 2:57:27 PM | I don't mind tattoos as long as they are small and discreet. I don't like the ones that cover someones back. I want to see your back not a tat. I love the ones on the mid drift esp when the lady decides to show me her's .
If I want to see art I will go to a art museum. Also I don't mind the ones that have meaning either. I.E. Someone putting a child's name in honor and/or family member. There is a basketball star that has a rose for every woman in his family on his arm. Not huge ones just enough to see.
So if done right no problem. But if I cannot see the beauty of the woman for all the artwork from tattoos in other words gross um NEXT.
Best of luck to everyone

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/24/2008 9:36:51 PM | As long as there aren't too many of them and they are discreet, I don't have a problem with them. Tats aren't for me. But if she has a them, and they are tasteful, then I'm OK with it. However, if I had a choice, I would rather her not have any. There is nothing more sensual and feminine than a woman's, soft, bare skin.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 12:28:59 AM | I dunno if I'd ever go so far as to say I wouldn't date a woman because of a piercing or tattoo, but I gotta admit certain certain body mods just scream anything but "classy".
You wanna say you're "still a good person" with pierced nipples or a big retardedly common tattoo of i dunno, say a butter fly on the lower back... well At that point you just look like someone following the crowd. I had someone try to justify some of that stuff by saying she was just impulsive and when she wants to do something is gonna do it, it's her body and she doesn't care what I or anyone else thinks.
Fine, I'll put that in my pipe and smoke it, but listen to me when I say this.
Imagine your dating a guy, I don't care what he does or why he says it, but wait until he says "he doesn't give a damn what you think and he's going to do it anyway because it's his decision and not yours." That's the beginning of the end right there.
Last time I checked strong relationships are more of a mutual thing. Plus I can't say I've met many people that claim to be allowed to do anything they want without asking their partner and remain completely uncritical in return.
If you don't value your S/O's opinion, it's gonna show through. I dunno if I'd get a tattoo myself she couldn't accept, but I'd try my damndest to convince her until I could.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 12:40:08 AM | | Well , I have quite a few tattoos and it seems to me that most guys love them... I get asked about them all the time.. guys pretty much use my ink as a first contact conversation topic... it does get annoying, but I love them... and I have a lot.. my arm is my biggest piece. I think that quality of the tattoo is huge for me... I wouldn't want to date someone who has "jail house" or basement tattoo's all over them, but as long as they look good and were done nicely then I'm all for them.. especially on women... | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 8:11:09 AM | | I think that they take away from the natural beauty of a woman. I would want to look at the woman, not a picture or a poster. That is what t-shirts are for. There are t-shirts that I think are interesting, but I wouldn’t want to see a woman wear the same t-shirt everyday for the rest of her life. | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 11:20:45 AM | | I think tattoos are very sexy and provocative on a woman. Not all women can wear them though. If it's not over the top then yeah thats cool. my favorite ones are the ones on a woman's leg, lower back and foot. | |
|
| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 11:52:27 AM | I like tattoos as long as they are original and classy. Those lower back tattoos that all women who were in their late teens/early twentys around 2002 have are so cliche I have to question the woman's intelligence for getting them. A friend of mine refers to it as the "tramp stamp".
Chinese symbols are another. If you are going to get a tattoo, think of something that's really meaningful to you, that hasn't been done much before, and somewhere that isn't your lower back, please.
Or do what you want. | |
