| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/25/2008 10:40:36 PM | This is quite a thread.
I am not for or against tatoos. In the grand scheme of what is going not a big worry.
My problem is simply that I get tired of the paint scheme and like to change it.
I am not a tatoo kind of guy. I don't have them or piercings....but I am an old fart!

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/26/2008 4:59:33 AM | | I think tattoo on a woman are a turn off however that doesnot mean I am turn off to the woman I guess it all in what taste we have and wear they are placed | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/26/2008 9:19:07 AM | | Bunch of factors come in to play for me anyway. Location and design. Wasn't a fan of the one my ex got but hey it was her choice. I thought it looked awful, but it made her happy. | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/26/2008 10:07:33 AM | I am never thrilled to see a tattoo on a woman. I think they are generally ugly, completely unfeminine and a reflection of making bad choices. My ideal woman would not have one.
I think tattoos are only fitting on soldiers, convicts, outlaw bikers and pirates.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/26/2008 11:47:13 AM | | Tatoos in a woman... yuck. Specially the tramp stamp. Looks like a "Use this entry" sign to me. Or a "Visa/MC/AE" sign, "just swipe it through the slot". | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/27/2008 12:41:44 AM | For the life of me, I don't understand what makes any difference at all if you have a tattoo or not or if you have a piercing or not. I just don't care. My biggest pet peeve is when girls contact me and they are trying to describe themselves and they'll say something like "oh I work at BLA BLA BLA. I have two cats. I have 4 tattoos and 2 piercings." WTF does that have to do with anything?
I'm not particularly attracted to tattoos or not attracted. It really doesn't matter at all. It's kind of like eye color. Brown eyes, blue eyes, who really gives a shit. What I don't understand is how almost all women go completely nuts and swoon just because guys have permanent markings upon the external layer of their skin or decide to poke a hole in it. How does that have any bearing at all of once attraction or lack thereof?

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/28/2008 2:20:39 AM | personally, i think i prefer women without tattoos, but it wouldn't really bother me if she had one or two.
i would like to get a tattoo, but i worry about how stupid it will look when i'm like 75 with a winged serpent or some strangeness on my arm. lol

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/28/2008 9:17:11 AM | by the time you are 75, I am sure it'll be 5min laser treatment to get it all erased.
even now, its quite easy... takes longer and hurts like a mofo, but hey 20yrs ago, it was for life...
not anymore...
also, why would you care what you look like at the age 75? thinking about dating at that age? lol... even if you're, I am sure your future dates wouldn't mind something you got 30 damn years ago...

Well, had you read any of the replies in this thread before posting you'd see it DOES matter to a lot of people. Some people are completely turned off by ink, some love it. I'd rather a man know upfront I have 6 tattoos so I have a picture of 4 of them on my profile and if I didn't, I'd definitely mention it in a first email.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/30/2008 4:28:36 PM | | Tatoos seem very fadish these days, and I think it's hard for a woman to find something tasteful, so tatoos on a lot of women just seem garish. I think women look best in diamonds not tattoos. | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/30/2008 6:12:13 PM | Well I don't know, I do know I'm not reading though 30 pages of opinions on tats.
I will say this, as often as women like to change things about themselves I am surprised that any of them will get one at all.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/30/2008 6:19:14 PM | | Yeah, no kidding. I would think that temporary tattoos would be favored. They last about a week. If I were in the tattoo business, it would only make sense, that way you would have repeat customers. Plus, no needle. Hell, I could probably do one with a colored sharpie pack. That is, if I had any artistic talent. | |

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 6/30/2008 7:08:52 PM | | I thought I'd voice my view on this subject. I personally see no problem with Tattoos. If they have them, then great and more power to them. I've seen some fantastic ink work that is absolutely mind-boggling. If they don't have any tattoos at all, then that's perfectly fine by me. I myself don't have any, but that's mostly due to being undecided on what I'd want permanently etched into my skin. | |
