I've never seen a tatoo that looks good. I forgot which comedian put it best. You're at the beach and you're looking at a women in a bikini. You noticed something on the lower part of her back and it looks like a rash or something. Then you realize it is a tatoo.

Skip it.

If you want to get a tattoo that's fine. But for me personally I'm not into women with tattoo's. Tattoo's are kinda like a parasite. Once the host has one, they get another and another and yet another. And like I've said before..."If I want to date some artwork I'll just go buy a painting."

I just looked her up on google images and no. That would be your personal viewpoint, because I didn’t see beauty there. Maybe without the tattoos she would be somewhat attractive, but I got a huge sense of repulsion at seeing her. The artwork is neat, but not on a person, so no, not hot.

She may be a nice person, but I wouldn’t want to look at her for any length of time. And I certainly wouldn’t want to date a woman that I didn’t want to look at.

I just looked up this "Kat Von D" woman and the only way I'd be with her was if I was in a coma. No way ever would I want anything to do with her! She creeps me out. I would worry that some of that ink might smudge onto myself. She may be a nice woman as a person, but no thanks.

There's no 'right' answer here. It's like saying 'Whats beautiful?'. It really IS in the eye of the beholder. Some dudes love loads of tats, some like a little one or two, some don't like them at all. As so many have said before me, what you put on your own body is your own damn business and as log as you feel comfy with it, then everyone else can go to hell. However...... just in case a woman wants to appeal to the majority of men possible, (dating can be a numbers game sometimes!) then you ought to probably stay away from tats. My personal opinion? Don't like 'em. I love womens bodies, the lines, the shapes, the curves, the textures, and to me, body art distracts from all that and takes away, rather than adds to the beauty of a woman. But I may well be so full of shit I squeak going into the corners..... ;)

Thats the kind of response I think sucks. I have no problem people saying they dont find it a turn on, its not beautiful in their eyes etc but when you then say stuff about class then thats crossing a line.
Bit judgemental also for someone in the social work industry

Im far from low class and i would never put a "class" on a person ,,,,,and i personnally think women being a certain age and weight shouldnt use their breasts in profile pics to get the attention of men,,,,,,,well maybe that would be considered "lowclass?",,,,

Money can't buy you class. Expensive grafiti is still grafiti. That's some real strange logic VOODOO. I looked at yours and I have to tell you normally the sight of a womans naked back would be a mild turn on. Ugh. Take some of that money and buy a nice shirt.

To each their own, personally its something I like you dont have to like it and to me it doesnt matter if you like it or not. Class is on how you act, behave and treat others and you just showed how little class you have by bashing me. Hope it makes you feel better !!

^^^I showed low class by calling you on your shallow opinion that the cost of something makes it classy? Nice canned response., do they hand those out at the body modification parlor? I gave my opinion and I toned it down for the masses that want to believe you can improve on mother nature with ink. This is my last post here as those stuck with the grafity will defend it to the end. It has nothing to do with the artist, quality of work or price. I thought the point of this forum was to gather perceptions for a woman who might be on the fence about desecrating her body. My perception is at least as popular as those who enjoy the ink and it should be known. Ladies, if you want shallow attention the quickest route is ink or silicone. If you would rather be beautiful to those who really know you..."keep it real".

Absolutely ! Everyone KNOWS you determine “class” by a persons ability to make snap decision
based on others appearance ! When asked if you like something one should not only say “yes” or “no” , but also throw in a dig or two that attempts to prove how Superior you are by putting someone else down, yes ? After all , YOUR opinion is POPULAR, and that always is ever so important when dealing with choices of any kind. Do what everyone else does and you can never be wrong ! To think otherwise would be “shallow” and “low class” !

On the Original Question: I give a hearty “It depends”. Some women carry them off very nicely. Some look like a bad night at a dangerous subway station after a sale on spray paint.
Disagreements over Art should not be based on personal attacks on the Artist.

My dear Angelfish

It appears that I have somehow offended you with my opinion. The site has removed my picture because they said it was against the rules to be "au naturel". Why do you want to know when I last had a date? I am exhausted every night as I have to frost a few wedding cakes daily with my special frosting. People , especially women, adore them!!

Talking about age, 54 is still very young for a man. It is women who have to worry about age. In many countries , a woman over 24 years of age is not worth a chicken and a 5 pound bag of potatoes.

Furthermore, my dear Angelfish, some people appear much smarter when they remain silent. This could be the best advice anyone has ever given you!!!

Mrs Prissy Pants

You are totally right. Tattoos on women (and men) advertize that would rather live in a trailer park. If I want to see some ugly markings I will go to a museum and admire some Picasso!!!
