Posted: 8/16/2008 8:12:41 AM | i love my tattoos. i don't care what other people think. i just love tattoos in general. if a guy doesn't like them then thats ok...just don't look at them or degrade me because of them. If a guy doesn't want to date me because of my tattoos then thats ok too...I wouldn't want to date him because of his closemindedness.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 8/16/2008 4:58:24 PM | A few well placed tattoos isn't a big deal. But I'm not sure if I would be attracted to a woman who had tattoos all over her body.
If a guy doesn't want to date me because of my tattoos then thats ok too...I wouldn't want to date him because of his closemindedness.
Why would that automatically make him closeminded? Maybe he simply isn't attracted to women with a bunch of tattoos. Just like some people might not be attracted to a certain body type or some other physical trait.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 8/16/2008 9:05:23 PM | | Here's the deal, tattoos on women are TOTALLY HOT if AND ONLY IF they are done well and in the right places. I think most people know the areas I'm talking about. If it starts to get out of control and they're all over her body, then it's a totally different ballgame. That said, I understand some people's objections, but not the hostility. There seem to be some pretty angry and judgmental people weighing in on this. If you don't like them on women, that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But to call people with tattoos, or those that like them trashy, is ignorant. (You know who you are). I'm tattooed and I don't regret it, and I guarantee that nobody who knows me would consider me trashy or low class. In the end, the most important thing is that if you want to do it, then do it (and do it right). Any guy that's going to reject a girl based strictly on her tattoo(s) is probably going to find other things to have problems with anyway. | |

It is closeminded if he doesn't want to date me ONLY because of my tattoos. Its nothing but a little bit of ink. I am a great person and if someone is going to reject me because of a little bit of ink then they need to open their mind. Just my opinion.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 8/19/2008 7:02:23 PM | | ...OK..I'll admit I don't care for them, but I pretty much have to tolerate them because there are so many otherwise incredibly desireable women that have them. The only ones I reeeaaly, reaaaly, reaaaaaaaly don't care for are the "breast" tattoo, and the "ankle" tattoo. My reasoning is this...women always seem to be upset with men over their "talk to my breasts" syndrome. So why would you put something on your breast to draw their eye to that portion of your anatomy? As far as the "ankle" tattoo...I guess it's just personal...I love a nicely sculpted leg and ankle...and a tattoo just doesn't seem to add to that perception. | |

Posted: 9/1/2008 8:17:45 PM | | i think that tattoos look good on women it's a way to express ones self, the tattoos that i find trashy are the small ones that girls get on the small of there back or else were that every other women has in this world. then it just becomes another clothing item to go with what they wear, i wish more people would take the time and find something meaningfull and original thats my opinion as a tattoo artist. and isnt it about whats on the inside not what the outward aperance of a person we judge so much but when we are getting judged we hate it inside not out side.

| q for the guys--Tattoos on women--yes or no? Posted: 9/1/2008 9:23:37 PM | Hmm.
Well this is a touchy subject and not that easy to answer, but to be fair, I have been with those that have tattoos and those that had none. I'd MUCH rather have someone without than with. The one exception being my last ex. She had just one, a small sun symbol on her neck. But only few got to see it so it wasn't gawdy.
The others that I've been with...well, the ink itself may be "pretty" to some degree, but I find it extremely tacky from a personal standpoint. As a preference, I would not date someone with tattoos. I like a bare canvas, again, with that one exception.
Sorry, some people just aren't as amused by tatt's as women would like to think. In the end though, it's their own body and they can do with it as they please. Just don't get huffy 'cause I wouldn't date you.

Thanks 39 again for giving the honest guys who dislike tattoos more ammunition in confirming the stereotypes about women who like them. They are repulsive and often lowclass. I can't believe you would draw attention to yourself with a profile that reads "cum pollinate me". That might be the most sensible thing you've written, at least I can understand what it means. Classy! Oops, I'm being shallow.
