Posted: 11/19/2005 3:24:38 PM | I would LOVE to get back together with my ex. However, there isn't enough time in this world for him to remotely try to make up for all of the hurt and anguish he caused myself, our children, and anyone who has ever known him.
My biggest problem, is that I sometimes remember things the way they SHOULD have been.. not the way they actually were. I will always mourn the loss of my marriage, just as I will always mourn the loss of my son. It's all about experiences and hurt and an attempt to heal from it all.
Thankfully, I have learned a LOT in the whole process, and continue to learn more and more each and everyday.
Besides... ALL of us are guilty of loving something or someone who isn't good for us. It's just human nature (stupidity sometimes too.. but that's human nature, right? LOL). All of our experiences we went through, made us who we are today. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm actually grateful for that. Not that I'm sadistic and enjoyed the pain; believe me, I did NOT! haha!
In short, would I get back with my ex. NO!!!!!!!!
Would I like to? Sure! It's just not something that is possible for more reasons than I can count.  | |

Posted: 11/19/2005 7:32:36 PM | I made the mistake of taking my ex back once.I thought for the sake of the kids we should try.It wasn't long and she was up to her old tricks and even some new ones.The kids agreed with me when we split the 2nd time and now spend most of their time with me.They use their mother's place as a launching point in town to go to their friends places.
Would I take her back again....it would be a frosty day in hell...and then I'd still say no. | |

So I will first attempt activities as bungee jumping or playing chicken with freight trains or other safe activities...before I ever consider attempting to address such thoughts...must bump head harder against the wall in order to understand the headache...lmao | |

He wasn't a boyfriend/husband nor a father while we were together... besides trust was broken in our relationship and that trust will never ever be there again.

We spent 5 years together...I broke it off because he had no drive and no ambition, was happy working at a fast food joint. Unfortunately, it took the end of the relationship for him to realize he needed a job...now he's pretty successful as a graphic designer but also fell back into drugs.
I broke up with him so he'd realize it and shortly after, I did want to get back together...he said no.
If the Jay I knew came back to me then yes...if the drugged up person he's become came back then no. | |
