| what is the nicest or sweetest thing someone has ever said or done for you? Posted: 6/15/2005 11:13:29 PM | | I sprained my ankle really severely at a vball game. that night...well early am...He woke up at 5am, drove all over the city trying to find me crutches so that I could go to work at 7:30am. He also picked me up from the gym where it happened, drove me to the hospital, sat, waited, kept me company, etc. Did everything he could to keep my spirits up...even though I was sad about not being able to play my sport for a while...that was sweet. PS...he never found crutches that were tall enough for me....damn drugstores...LOL | |

I broke up with her and she sent me a dozen roses to me at work saying goodbye. I just wanted her to do dumb stupid stuff like that while we were together. That's one of the reasons we aren't together anymore. Now on the flip side, what is the lamest or most insensitive thing that someone has ever done or said to you? Mine would have to be that same ex g/f. Last year for my birthday she gave me 3 sets of uniforms for work. Who the hell wants to think about work on their birthday!? But at least she got me something that year. Usually, she would just forget I had a birthday and not get me anything.

Posted: 6/23/2005 10:30:10 PM | | i was out with some friends last night and this guy joined us i'd never seen before...he introduced himself, we chatted a bit and it was obvious that i'd had a rough day...he asked how i got 5 stitches on my chin and kept saying not to worry, that i'd be alright now...then he reached over and tucked my hair behind my ear...i dunno, but there was so much power in such simple, kind words and gestures from a complete stranger...random acts of kindness are free, yet they can remind one of the inherent goodness in us all... | |
