(Everyone assumed I was the jock/class clown).
I did two things for my ex that she swore were the sweetest things anyone had ever done for her... 1.) I had just helped her move into a new apartment in a very ghetto area where she was living alone for a few weeks. She ALWAYS called before she went to bed. I waited until 1am and she never called. I got in my car and made the 1.5 hour drive in less than an hour almost busted down the door (luckily she gave me the spare key) and ran into her bedroom to find her sleeping peacefully. She was so tired from moving she fell asleep before calling.
2.) While spending the night at my place once I awoke to find the same ex sleeping downstairs on the couch instead of next to me like the night had began. She was very sick (we found out later at the Dr.'s office she had a bladder infection). I stayed up all night with a puke bucket and cold wash cloths, holding her hand while she tried to sleep.

Posted: 7/23/2005 8:53:13 PM | | I went out with some friends for a going away party for one of them. we got to the club and for some reason I had forgotten my ID at home and couldn't get in, all my friends went in and left me outside, next thing I know the guy we were having the going away party came back outside looking for me, I explained to him what had happened and all he said was" hey lets go grab a coffee" and to think he left his going away party to sit with me at a coffee shop. I'll never forget him because of it.

Posted: 11/24/2005 7:07:41 PM | | I told a friend of mine that all my youngest daughter wanted for Christmas was to get her sister a certain stuffed horse that was lost when my ex and I separated. This horse had seen my daughter through a serious illness, as would a blankie to other kids. I told my friend the story, he searched and found this animal so the youngest could give it to her sister for Christmas. I was choked up, the thought was so kind!

| what is the nicest or sweetest thing someone has ever said or done for you? Posted: 12/13/2005 11:33:21 AM | - One guy complimented me and said, " You surpass any woman I have ever known, lusted for or loves, bc you are an enigma. You make me want to keep knowing you for a long time".
- Nicest thing anyone has ever done for me ( in terms of males ) was when this guy at my University who I barely knew overheard me asking for notes for a few missed class. He approached me and goes, " My parents own a printing shop..if you want, I can photocopy the notes for you ". And by God, he did, booked-bound it and everything. We are still friends.
- In German, " Ich denke, dass ich Sie liebe ..but ich sage ihm auf Deutsch, bc ich werde erschrocken, dass Sie nicht werden. " ( In English, " I think I love you, but I am saying it in German bc I think you won't " ). In the end, I did love him after all.
