Posted: 12/1/2005 6:50:23 PM | I can't believe that people are willing to drive to Red Deer for a party ... yet driving accross town is to far. Any reason to get together with good friends, and new friends (especially at Christmas) should always be a welcome thing.

I think I will go and post a separate thread - something like : "HEY BOYZ, ME AND MY SIS ARE OUT WITH TOYS!"
I sure hope that would work.

The Childrens Cottage is a wonderful charity! I know of a young mom or two that have had their children there and they have a blast!
The people there, they give so much with all the work they do with the kids.
I think that Glenmore and 18th street is a perfect place! Easy to get to from the north (via Deerfoot), easy to get to from the south (via MacLeod or Deerfoot) and easy to get to from the west and east.
Great choice!!

Toy for a child - Any price ranger.. your choice!
Food bank donation - Ya must have something in your cubourds that you bought cuz you were hungry, it was on sale but you'll never eat or just grab from safeway too.
Gift Exchange- Small and cheery if you want to JOIN this part. It'll happen about 11ish.. $5-$15 Max... ex: x-mas decorations, candles..ect
