Seruously, I find the anorexic look (skin baggy on thin bones) to be a complete turn-off. Sorry.

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 12:14:23 AM | im glad to hear that im not the only one that had that thought cross through her mind. im the same as hac3011, im just under 6foot and am around the 130-135lbs (aussies use kilos but i think ive converted it correctly) mark, i can eat whatever i feel like when ever i feel like it and not put on weight...although im not complaining i'd rather be able to eat whatever i want than have to worry about the after effects of doing that.

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 12:22:54 AM | | Yes you can be too thin. I am also 5'6 but i weigh in at 110. When i dropped down to 90 pounds in high school from playing sports and being a veggie, I was put into the hospital because there was not enough fat on my body to maintain good health. I think that if you weigh 92 pounds you should make sure your body is in proper health.... remember your body starts to shut down if it is being starved. I never had an eating disorder but i was not eating like i should of been while being so active. I would just watch yourself. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 11:08:15 AM | | I know what it's like to be thin I'm one of those guys who can eat and eat and not gain a pound...I believe a thin girl has nothing to do with what she's like...I've dated thin girls to curvy girls, and they've all been great. I have no prefrence for myself..but I say as long as the girl has a great personality..thats all that really matters | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 11:15:21 AM | | See 92 lbs is too thin in my opinion,But some people do like that.It is all in the eye of the beholder as it were.I myself have a minimum wt requirement of 160 lbs.But if you are happy with you,Find someone that likes very thin women. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 11:16:51 AM | | Personally, I would rather be with a woman who has meat in her body. Not attracted to thin women or those trying to be "model-looking thin." | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 11:31:02 AM | | 5'6" and 92 lbs! You must look like you're from a concentrations camp. I don't find extremely thin women attractive. There's nothing to hold on to for one thing. At 5'6" you should weight at least 120 lbs. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 11:38:23 AM | | i personally like women of most sizes. it's more the proportions than the size that concerns me. to be honest though, it does sound like you would do well to put on some weight for health purposes. as far as how you look, i doubt i'd mind. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 12:26:54 PM | | 92lbs does seem too thin for your height......but you have to take into account bone structure too. Your face doesn't look extremely thin; that's usually an indication too. Like everybody else said; it's hard to tell without a full length pic. i usually think someone is too thin if their knees are bigger than their thighs.........btw; i'm 5'5'; 120 lbs........when i do lots of cardio; of course i lose a bit. When I was a roller speedskater; i was usually about 112; and thats doing lots of skating!! | |

Can a girls thinness be unattractive R4YL, I'm guessing that since you run SO much you look like you're carrying even less weight than what you weigh.
I'm not a doctor, so I won't try to assess your health. You seem to eat a lot of calories, and you run all the time, so you seem to be in good condition. A blood test would help determine if you have any nutrional deficiencies, I suppose.
Yes, I don't find very thin women attractive. First impression I'd have if I saw you would probably be that you have an eating disorder.
If you are healthy and happy with your running habit, I wouldn't worry about making false first impressions. If the first impression you make in general is really that important to you, or you feel like you aren't meeting enough men, or you are not in a relationship with the right guy, consult a physician and nutritionist and figure out how you can add more weight. Good luck to you!

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/24/2005 5:26:47 PM | | Good question. I like thin for four reasons. 1) I'm thin. 2) thin equates into comforting wrap-around legs during the "do". 3) Since airplanes have small rest rooms the initiation process is much easier to join the Mile-high Club. And lastly because it's easier for me to pick you up so we can "do the do" anywhere, ei, in the shower especially. So my answer is --- I love thin women the best......more flexible and versitile. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 12/28/2005 2:54:27 PM | I think there is a difference between petite and thin. I prefer athletic and active. If she has physical stamina to carry a pack hiking and strength for kayaking etc that is great. Some girls that are thin I would feel afraid that I would break them and have to handle them with kid gloves on. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 12/28/2005 4:25:06 PM | .Im 5ft 9 and around 135 to 140 ...I like food too much to ever be ultra thin.My sister used to model and she was 5ft11 and 126 at the time.Everyone has their preferences as to whats attractive. As long as youre happy with yourself and healthy I wouldnt worry about it.Im happy with how I look. If a man doesnt find me attractive Im enjoying life and lasagna on occasion way too much to care about someone elses opinion. Im not going to lose sleep or weight over it:) | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 12/29/2005 3:21:28 AM | That's a Body Mass Index of 15 Readyfor, which is right in the LOW end of the "tall ballerina" range and a long way below average for the female population as a whole.
As long as you're healthy and happy, no problems in itself - but I must say I prefer the "shape" of girls with BMIs in the 18-22 range. That is, however, just the perfonal preference of a single man.
