I do most of the usual stuff already mentioned, lots of water b4 going to bed with a few asprin. I also take doses of vitamin B and lots of grapefruit juice in the morning. The other thing I do is go on a brisk run in the morning...it helps to sweat out the rest of booze. | |

I also have a glass or bottle of water by my bed for the middle of the night or the morning. I wake up and feel right as rain! I will eat something greasy if I still feel hung the next day...

It is way better thatn Gatorade. To prevent a hangover, drink 1 glass of water per drink (which noone does) or even better take those Chaser pills. Happy drinking!!! | |

Posted: 2/13/2006 4:17:32 AM | | It all begins and ends with the Gatorade. This stuff is better than sliced bread. If you do not want a hangover stick to Gatorade and vodka. Wake up feeling great. If you differ and wake up with a hangover try a tall glass of ice cold gatorade with half a shot of vodka. You want the new alcohol in the system but you want the drink weak enough that you won't taste it first thing in the morning. Ultimate backup, Mary J. It will stop ANYTHING. I broke my ankle in 3 places. They gave me a demerol shot in the butt every 4 hours which took the edge off. They sent me home with vicodin which was about as effective as flintstones vitamins. Luckily I had a bit of herb. 2 small puffs were far more effective than however much demerol they shot me with. | |
