Guess with the rising costs of fuel and food items... I would say $300 for dinner and $9700 for gas.
Seriously, I think it would be cool to use about $500 for the date and then donate the balance to a charity you both agree on. | |

My reservations might be in rome, followed by a tour of the ruins, and enjoying the nightlife afterwards. Or Paris. Or Fiji. Or somewhere, anywhere other than another night in the same town you see every day. | |

I would take the girl out for dinner and stuff though , and the rest I would donate to a local womens shelter or habitat for humanity , giving that money away to people who really need it would leave a better longer lasting memory then going and blowing it on the town . | |

anyhooot.... I would fly us to France....make it a lovely night in Paris....and spend some time exploring the region...wine country...head over to Italy.....romantic time in Tuscany...hey...it would be a full week date!...and I would be frugal....make it last and drink plenty of great wines and eat great meals.  | |

Posted: 6/20/2008 11:32:41 AM | I would buy groceries, clothes, blankets and toileteries (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant etc), go to a homeless shelter with a kitchen to prepare meals. My date would assist by giving out the package of clothes & items.
This would be a way to know your date, too feel humble and gentle reminder that everyone needs attention.
If any money was left over, use it for a cab to get back home. | |
