The Snake... Evil or Misunderstood?

The snake was just the tool......
it was not the snake itself, it was Satan disguised as a snake.

Satan came to tempt Eve. The serpent (Satan) tempted Eve
by getting her to doubt Gods goodness. He suggested God was
strict,
stingy and selfish for not wanting Eve to share his knowledge
of good and evil.
Satan made Eve forget all that God had given her and focus on the
one thing she shouldn't have.
Satan at one time was an angelic being who rebelled agianst God
and
was thrown from heaven. God makes it clear that Satan is a
created
being, thus has limitations.
Although Satan is trying to tempt everyne away from God, he will not
be the final victor. In Genesis 3:14, 15
God promises Satan will be crushed.

Why does Satan Tempt us?
Temptation is Satans invitation to give into his kind of life and
give up
on God's kind of life. Satan tempted Eve and succeeded in
getting her to sin.
He's been busy getting people to sin ever since- he even tempted
Jesus
(Matthew 4:11)

Being tempted to sin, is not a sin. We have not sinned until we give into
the temptation. James 1:12 tells of the blessings and rewards for those who
don't give into temptation.

Concerning sankes, the bible in Genesis 3
note: the snake is the crafiest of all creatures the Lord God had made.

In Gods plan.... we have choice.

If everything that happens during life is part of gods' plan

Its not his plan, we are the ones doing it. his plan was back in the garden put he did know that we would not do it. Do you have kids? Did you get a piece of paper saying they would do what ever you told them to do? Have you ever said dont jump on the bed? you know they will get hurt right? and you tell them not to do it and then they do and yes they get hurt, did you make them do it? No but did you know it was going to happen, yes you did.

I still have a small scar on my left eyebrow from jumping on the bed.

falling into temptation gives us the choice to
grow spirtually and come to know God. As some
of us.... are thick headed and have to learn the hard way
until we learn to trust in "His" plan.

No, not everything that happens is part of Gods plan.
The plan is you will always have a choice in matters.

amen, it is up to us.
Jesus was tempted by satan but did not give in, then you have ppl like you and me that have fallen short and let the devil in but we knew it was wrong at the same time.
