Unfortunately, I remember my 20's as well as some of our parents remember the 60's or 70's. It is nice to be back in control. | |

Posted: 1/21/2005 11:50:54 PM | I am still trying to figure out when I stopped being 22. LOL I just don't bounce as good as I did back then. I could fall off my motorcycle, roll down a hill, slam into a tree, and then get up and ride away. Now? I wrecked my bike in Sept and I am still limping. LOL
All in all I have just about as much fun as I did when I was in my 20s. The only real difference is the price of my toys. Well that and since I don't work in the oil field anymore I am just not as buff and don't seem to attract the opposit sex as much. | |

Posted: 1/22/2005 6:11:11 AM | I am having a lot of fun in my 30 too, we are more free at that age, less preassure of the family, the economy is bigger too. And I still have plenty of energy, which the rest of my friends do not have. That makes me a real nuts. Going out almost everynight, having big hangovers, etc , Trying to control now, and everybody says to me if you were 20 could be understandable, and myself trying to be a good girl and it is always the day that I finish very drunk having a lot of fun.
I think 30 are the second teenager age. But the 40's are there waiting, that is really scary!!!
Will they be as good as 30????

Posted: 5/5/2005 4:44:24 PM | i agree with indi....i bawled the day i turned 30...i wish i could go back....i know we can't but i just wish i could do somethings over again..the first 30 went by so quick...in another 30 i'll be 60 and that scares me...where will i be in my life? what will i be doing? will i be alive? will i have a family that i want? etc etc...great now you got me going....sniff...i'll be back....sob | |

I'm just over 30 and I feel great...love my life and happy to be out of my 20s...just bad memories there and now I'm ready to make new memories for a new decade in my life :)
Am making lots of new friends, starting a new career...who knows where I'm going, other than up???!!!!

turning 30, and for those who are scared of moving into

for guys who are scared of girls over 30!!!!... This was

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 30 most of
all. Here are
just a few reasons why: A woman over 30 will never wake you
in the
middle of the night to ask, "What are you thinking?" She

Yes, we praise women over 30 for a multitude of reasons.
Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning,
smart,
well-coiffed hot woman of 30+, there is a bald, paunchy
relic in yellow
pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old
waitress.
Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, "Why buy
the cow when
you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you.
Nowadays 80%
of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize
it's not worth
buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

Posted: 1/19/2007 8:51:26 PM | My 30s were my absolute best decade. I was finally comfortable in my own skin, wasn't out to impress anybody! It was in my 30s that I felt confident in myself.
I had the best time with my friends and had the best relationship with a wonderful guy.

I enjoy my 30s for a few particular reasons:
I'm wiser
I made all my mistakes in my 20s, learned and know what the hell I want and need to do
Got the career semi all lined up so I'm good to rock and roll now into my 40s (I think?)
And the men, oh yea ....... hmmm yummy. Now I can look at older 30 year olds and 40 year olds and think - geeezzz men do get better with age oh yea oh yea........ | |

Got drunk far too much and found the college of hard knocks & the local university to my liking. I value this knowledge. Turning 40, I've so looked forward to this time of my life. Life over 30 is by far the best. I know what I want, when, how and what I will not tolerate.. | |
