As for females legs being bare vs hosiery.. I think the shaved female leg looks so much more attractive in stockings. I prefer thigh highs or stockings (NOT panyhose) . The only time I go bare legged is when I'm wearing shorts or a bathing suit or when my legs are very tanned. However. even though I live quite close to the beach and it's warm enough to go to there all year round, my schedule is seldom affords me the time to to go all that often.
In reference msg 74... the guy who posted about seeing a woman in Boston who was sitting with her legs crossed, seeing a couple of her garters and re-enforced toes.... I don't think it's attractive at all to see stockings with a re-enforced toe through open toe heels. They're ok with closed toe heels, but while wearing open toe heels, in my opinion, it's a major fashion faux pas. | |

Posted: 12/6/2007 12:45:53 PM | No, I was referring to the reinforced tops of her stockings, which I glimpsed because of her position and the cut and material of her dress. She was not wearing open-toed shoes, and did not appear to be someone prone to such faux pas. (That is nearly a multilingual pun.)
After posting I realized that the last time I remember seeing a woman wearing garters and stockings in ordinary life before this fall was in the late 1990s. I'm not sure why these things have such an impact on me, but it simply looks remarkably nice. Perhaps part of it is the forbidden nature of the sighting, the fact that one isn't supposed to notice, or perhaps it engages some left over sexual perception from earliest adolescence.
I would never want a woman to dress for male admiration when she goes to work, and I don't wish discomfort or impracticality on any woman. But I certainly experienced a lot of pleasure from those few minutes, weeks ago, and I notice that I have positive feelings now that I can't really identify whenever I see that woman on the train. It's more of a feeling of well-being than anything romantic or sensual.

To each his own. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion. However, in reading just the posts from the guys in this thread the consensus is that most men love seeing hosiery on women's legs. The same goes for the men that I know in the real world.

No, it doesn't affect my perspective in anyway. I dress for me - not anyone else. If I look in the mirror and like what I see and I feel comfortable wearing a particular piece of clothing, then I wear it. Pure and simple. If what I happen to be wearing is a appealing to the opposite sex I count it as a bonus. | |

For me . . . I never wear stockings or hose. I live in high temperature/humidity and I can't take it. As one colleague commented, I dress like a hippie.
However my legs run the gamut from three weeks of growth (under my sweats at my family Thanksgiving get-together) to freshly waxed and tan (thanks to the bike, and the previously mentioned heat).

iam not really a stocking fan as i like women in tights, tights are much more fun when pulling down tho i have to admit stockings are better for easier access for a guy. | |

Posted: 12/23/2007 3:26:11 PM | i can remember ( how can i forget phew ) a good few years back when i was sat on the front row whilst attending a course when a guy 2 seats to my right asked the very smartly dressed lady doing the talking a question, as she came to him she crouched down in front of him but pointed her knees towards me, she must have been crouched for a good 5 mins but all this while she had her legs parted and i could see straight between her legs to her white panties , her stocking tops and suspender belt on one side, now normally NO woman would perform like that as their knees are normally super-glued together not even letting a breeze up there.
I stared in amazement at her all the time tho iam pretty sure she knew what she was doing.
Anyway i kept that image in my mind untill the break when i shot off to the mens room....well in fact i still have that image now and that must have been 20 years ago............such happy inocent times indeed.
