Muscular as in fitness model or gym fit... but not steroid abuser.

Testosterone can seriously de-feminise a woman, and I like My women to be feminine and generally petite.

Nothing against women that juice, just not My cuppa tea :)

LOL, good thing women don't feel that way, huh? Probably you don't have to worry about it though, huh? It's muscle. Aren't muscles made to be strong? Is it good for them to get lax & saggy? Think not. Women can't win when it comes to what men think it is clear on this forum.

Depends on how big she is .... if she has 28 inch arms and trys to slam me from the top rope .. that might be a turn off .
If she is built to her frame and doesn't look juiced then that would be sexy .

I was wondering if men find muscular women a turn on, or do they consider them a bit intimidating, especially in the bedroom? Does it make them feel inadequate?

LMAO..."intimidating"....."inadequate"....mmmmmmmm...No. Appreciative, fortunate...yes. Although, I am with HarDayKnight on this one...muscular/fit, is a serious turn on...muscular/ripped, tells me she's got serious issues.

I have been a bit intimidated by a woman; but it was her mind that gave me pause.

Most female bodybuilders today are much more attractive than they used to be. Why, well, more and more women see the benefits of working out. Sure, there might be some men who see a girl with 15 inch arms and think she looks "manly", but I guess it depends on what you are looking at.

Women who were assertive used to be considered "manly". The line has been moved several times in history.

I am attracted to girls I think are pretty, but I guess if it came down to it, if you had two pretty girls, and one was muscular and one wasn't, I'd opt for the muscular one. I find myself attracted mostly to the self confidence they must possess, the dedication they have to their fitness goals, to transform their body into something that 99% of the population has not the courage to do.

Feminine = soft and round

Masculine = hard and angular

In my opinion.

I think the things I find sexy in women are the things I don't have. Narrow shoulders, thin necks, soft breasts, rounded hips and butt.

If she looks more like what I or another guy have, then yeah, I'm not turned on, but not intimidated, just not gay.

I watched "Junior" for the first time tonight...yeah, I know, it came out in 1994...

But I was thinking about that bit where Arnold talks about the East German Women's Team doing all those steroids in the 70's & 80's...before anyone realized how BAD they were for you....

Makes ya think...

Zap was TOTALLY HOT!!

i don't find them intimidating and i don't find them a turn on. i like a woman to be soft,with curves. cut women don't have enough of what i like. everybody has preferences. even though i can appreciate how hard you work at being fit, you may not appeal to my liking.

BTW, I'm 5'1" and about 135 to 140 pounds... so, not very big, just a comfy size.

A healthy weight for a woman that is 5'1 is 105-115 lbs. You are 25-35 lbs over that. So my assumption is you are way muscular.

"Toned" women are very sexy. Muscular women are not. Toned women=Fitness models. Muscular women=wannabe bodybuilders.

I do find it very attractive, if you're not trying to snap phonebooks in half.

I worked with a woman previously, who had such a pretty face. One afternoon, I was flipping through TV channels only to find her in a competition. She was like you, caretodream, not freakish. I believe she was in the 150 lbs. group, and won the competition. Between being happy for her success, and being turned on by her looks and physique, I was quite good for the moment.

I have wanted to date a woman like that. Being 205 lbs., I'm working out daily to get myself right for me...and also for any someone who enters my life. If I'm fortunate to be acquainted with someone with such a physique, (and a yet gentler personality) I would look up to heaven and say, "I Love You, Too".

I agree with Tao. Women should be soft and feminine. However that does not equate to size 20 and eating chips all day...........if you go to the gym or do some form of exercise and you are "toned" then I think you will look fantastic. I go to the gym 3 times a week at the moment but I still definitely look like a woman.

On the other side of this discussion, I did date a guy once in my twenties who had posters of body builder women all over his walls. I couldn't understand why he would be dating me when I was busty, round and soft.................guess I'll never understand men.

I dated a body builder once for about 9 months. She was exceptionally muscular and a competitor. Despite the muscles she was very very feminine in every way. The added benefit was the large clitoris from the steroids. While I didn't agree with the drug use I sure did like that one little side benefit.

I like my women dainty.

A muscular woman would not intimidate or make me feel inadequate. Not even sure why the OP would think that she could do that to a man. Trying to prove something?

I think muscles are attractive on men or women. I don't mean bulky muscles that strain one's clothing, but just a healthy build that makes someone look active and capable. It's also nice that you can sculpt your body's musculature because that's not generally possible with fat. Some women are lucky to add fat in a way that makes them look more feminine, but certainly not all. If a woman doesn't have a nice chest and/or rear (from fat, basically), she can always work out and change her shape. It may not please everyone, but a *lot* of guys like shapely legs and a generally toned physique.
