I was raised by a very powerful man who was 5'6 ..my father, and never did i see him as short..It's all in the attitude baby!! When a shorter man has confidence in himself and has the right attitude he can seem 6'10, and plus I have known some "very" sexy shorter men in my time. Me, well I'm 5'4 so anyone taller than 5'5 is tall. | |

As a guy who is 5'7", who has dated women from 4'10"-6'1" I have to say that I think it's all in how confident and comfortable you are as a person. The one's taller than me had no complaints and we always enjoyed each other's company. As far as short women who prefer taller men at least a foot or so taller than them, I say,to each it's own. If that's what you like, so be it. No problem from me! For the record, there is no such thing as SMS. You're either a confident individual or you're not. My 2cents | |

I have a hard time with shorter men,it does turn me off. Im only 5'3 and I seem to attract all the shorter men for that reason, but I have always adored men who were tall (5'10 and up).
We all have our own preferences surrounding what makes us tick......I cant for the like of me get turned on by a man shorter the 5'8, you can tell the difference in voice in hands etc. I guess because I am short myself I relate men being tall as being the "REAL" man.
I hope you dont get offended by this all you short men, but I am sick of having to stick up for what I find attractive. We all have our dislikes and likes and I truly believe its our make up and how our own system works, a lot of it is from child hood etc.
Tall men make me feel womanly and sexy and they make my body come to life.
Geez I hate that logic. I'm 5'9". Ya i'm not tall, no I don't have "short man symdrome".
Height only makes you better at basketball & volleyball & grabbing things off high self. A different person is a diffferent person, you shouldn't need them to make you feel more confident about your self. Like get some self esteem, not a tall guy.
I've heard the thing about feeling protected, when a guy is tall. when that point is counter a short Bruce Lee type of guy. Then i'm told it's a different type of "protection".
I say the height difference should be at maximum one person tilts their head up, while the other tilts their head up to kiss. | |

now i'm quite petite. i'm 5'3 and a bit...lol. and i've had experiences with tall guys and short guys. i think the thing about tall guys that gets lotso f girls, is that whole big strong protector man thing... its someone you can look up to.. now myself.. i don't want someone that towers over me by a foot.. i'm not going to rule it out, but its just not very fun. you start kissing or whatnot, and either he's bent waaay over, or being picked up(which is fun...but not when its necessery for a great makeout session..lol) or i might be standing on a chair or something.. lol...
now shorter guys, there's something kind of nice about that... as long as they are atleast a bit taller than me... which really isn't hard to do. its nice because, you fit together. you can walk arm in arm instead of midsection and neck... lol.. you don't have to reach real far to hold hands, or hopefully take 3 steps to his everyone..lol you don't feel like a little girl staring up at her daddy, and you can look the guy right in his eyes. and yes, i know people say when you're on the horizontal it dones't matter... but it is nice to be able to with someone, and you can look them in the eyes, instead of being with someone who has like a long body or something, where all you can see is their chest... lol

Posted: 6/12/2006 7:01:38 PM | just thought I would chime in I have been on here for a bit and one of my buds has also he is 5'3 or 5'4 depending on his mood in fibbing lol (sorry homie you know its all good). I am 6'8" and there is a huge difference in replys between our accounts. We both are pretty much the same as far as loving to laugh and enjoy having a good time etc. just we can tell that alot of times at least in our area height does matter. Not that I am complaining nor is he lol just this topic caught my eye and thought I would share our experience so far.
