So she ,they don't like to go out with short guys get over it little people,,your height will never change no matter how much you try!!!!suck it up butter cup!!!!geesh!!!! | |

Exactly why you should be seeking a short man. He is superior in many ways.
1) Lower resource usage
2) Smaller moment of inertia (which means stronger for the same muscle mass and better acceleration, which is why all these short guys say they can drop bigger guys. They really can).
3) Lower growth rate leads to better coordination.
4) Faster reflexes.
Taller guys can:
1. Reach the top shelf
2. Find someone in a crowd
3. Pick a girl up and twirl her without her toes dragging the ground
4. Get in a truck without a stepladder.
5. Swallow her in a great big bear hug
sorry Earth, I couldn't help it.  Short guys must dwell on this a lot to compile lists defending their height. I'm sure women are looking for guys with lower resource usage  | |

Thats been my experience anyway. Plus the short guys ive dated had an obsession with me not being able to wear high heels so i couldnt even dress up in that way.

Height is not something you can change, as I have said countless times, I prefer shorter men (like firefighter) with a muscular build and has no issue with his height. If someone doesn't like you because you are under 6ft, move on, someone else will. Normally, when a shorter man cannot get a date, they blame their height, more often than not, it has nothing to do with their height, it has to do with their attitude. | |

Posted: 8/27/2006 8:09:41 AM | I work at a Rona..........for the americans on here.........its like a Home Depot............I see men of all heights come in. One thing I've noticed,,,,,,there are more muscular short men than there are muscular tall men. I have noticed from dating men of different heights; that some of the tall ones seem to think that they don't have to work out.........that being tall is enough. I had a hard time not laughing at one that thought that he was big and strong...........because he's 6'5" and his workout consisted of 20 pushups & 20 crunches ...to me......fitness is more important than height........... but then.....I'm 5'5" | |

I had alot of fun with short guys just for hangin out but nothing serious. Maybe they feel like they r too short and that if they treat a women right then they can get a date. But cheer up short guys u can get womens cause u know how to treat them but some times the height thing can be disappointing especially if u r 4ft tall. but hey look for womens yo height and u wont have a problem at all trust me. | |

I'm a big stocky guy so maybe that helps offset not being 6' tall. The girls all feel secure when I hold them. No complaints so far. But I say if a chick isn't into me because of my height, weight, or personality, then that's fine with me. I won't blame a woman for not being attracted to me. #1, you can't help how you feel and #2, I have too many women that are attracted to me to worry about those that aren't.  | |

Posted: 10/6/2006 11:20:41 PM | I think what cracks me up the most is how some people who are taller act as though it's an accomplishment, as if they succeeded at being tall and others failed at it. I have a brother who acts that way, constantly making comments about how he is the tallest in the family...I'm more irritated that he's related and so stupid than I am about my height.
I realized a long time ago that I was short, and it's never bothered me. As the only short kid of five, I grew up with a father who used to beat me for being small. He hated the fact that I didn't grow like the other kids were growing and apparently thought he could slap some height into me. Wait...so that's where my brother's stupidity came from...I just figured that out!! lol
Regardless, I'd be lying if I said I never wished I was taller, but this is the real world and that's what life handed me....no do-overs.... | |

Posted: 10/7/2006 9:47:35 AM | I don't think its the individual woman that has me down on it, but that the vast majority of women don't want to date any guy under 6'0. Around 45% refuse to date men under 6' despite the fact that only 34% are 6' and over.
Its discouraging when you know that three quarters of the women out there aren't interested in you because you're 2 inches too short.
As I mentioned in another thread, I tried signing up for speed dating, but I'm too short for it. How is it that men are considered the shallow end of the species? | |

I'm not complaining because I don't walk short. I have dated girls your height. Yes that's right, 5'10" tall. They asked ME out. I loved every COMFORTABLE minute of it.

Posted: 10/7/2006 10:38:15 AM | I have dated some men that are the same height as me or about an inch shorter. I fell in love with one. But, generally this is how I feel about dating shorter or same as my height men:
1. I feel like a giant when I wear heels and are with them
2. I feel like the man in the relationship, like I can wrap my arms around them and they can't around me, and I personally love the feeling of a man wrapping his arms around me for an intimate hug and me being all snuggled up.
3. If he were to stand in front of me to protect me from anything, wouldn't really do much if I could see over him.
That is just how I feel tho, and my preferences. | |
