Well, not everyone can be tall.

Just like not everyone can be intelligent or not a shallow whore.

That's just how life is.

I am only 5'1" and I prefer to be with guys who are taller than me. Way taller (way taller, I mean at least between 5'10" and 6'). I want to feel like the guy can "protect me", not the other way around. I want his body to be able to wrap around mine. I want to be able to look up at him and lay my head on his chest. Those are some of the things that attracts me to taller guys. :: shrug ::

I am 5'1" as well and I like shorter men, easier to kiss, hug and snuggle with. If they are too tall it is more uncomfortable, hard on the neck and I feel awkward. Hey firefighter, I would like to learn more about those other 47...

It is almost funny about height....... For some I am considered short at 5'10", and for others tall.

I have had women state that they only dated a man over 6' since they enjoy wearing high heels most days and want to still look up to that man, not in the eyes or down. I have others state that they like taller because it usually means a larger frame as well, and many feel safer, and more relaxed with a man that dwarfs them.

It becomes more of symmetry then anything else. How you look and feel with the one you are with, and how they feel with you.

To each his or her own........I might not agree with much of it, but I do understand it.

Just my opinion.......

It's just like anything else: a preference. I'm 5'7", just barely over the average in height, and I'd prefer my date not have to spend the evening talking to my clavicle (or anything lower, for that matter) should I be wearing heels. I dated someone who seriously wouldn't LET me leave the house in heels, so I can't see a tremendous number of guys wanting to date Amazons, either. ( He was about 5'6" plus change) I'd feel awkward and I know he'd feel awkward, unless of course he really DOES want to spend our date chasing after Moose and Squirrel...

I guess this is why so many guys lie about their height. Some guys really push it though. I'm 5'7'', and have seen guys who were barely my height claiming they were 5'9'' even 5'10'' and it's so obvious they are way off. Maybe you could get away with adding on 1 inch but 2-3 inches people can notice. Probably why so many people believe the average height is taller then it actually is. You need to take in consideration all the guys who are 5'10'' and write down 6'0'' on the form.

relpy to tlagnesb # 483

Just so you know, a tall guy takes longer to fall, they suck when it comes to positions and unless you got stilts on you are NOT laying your head on their chest unless your in bed and your half way to the bottom ~!!!! lol,,, and I happen to know first handed that a certain man who considers himself short, would protect me very smartly given the chance and could wrap his body very nicely around mine, and just a little icing on the cake.. SHIVERS THE TIMBERS ~!!!!!!!! end of that story,. sorry couldn't help myself lol.

PONIE OMG are you effin kidding me.... your not seriously gonna diss someone who's out there fighting fires when your profile reads like you work in WALMART selling those little orange vegetable dicing machines with one of those little microphones on your head to draw the crowd of people in to watch you slice dice n mince

that's right ladies, EVERYTHING IN STOCK IS 50% OFF!!!!

Have you been looking for a man that can slice and dice, mince, and chop?

Do you have room in your kitchen for a man that can cook?

Are you tired of sitting around while everyone else is dancing and having fun?

LAWD HAVE MERCY,,,,, you should not be slinging no pot shots at anyone on this site seriously.

Hi there,

I'm not attracted to shorter men for the same reason that many of the short men on this forum think is an advantage. Some shorter men who are fit are generally broader and more thickset than taller men. I exercise a lot, so am generally attracted to men who are in shape. However, I'm not attracted to heavy-boned men.
I'm from Quebec, and now live in the U.S. I'm finding American men, on the whole, much larger-boned than French-Canadian men. I'm used to an average build and average height. A lot of it is conditioning. People who grew up in the mountains, love mountains. I never grew up on the ocean, so I'm actually not all that enamored with now living on the ocean. No one will call me discriminatory because I prefer rolling farmland to the ocean. Why call someone discriminatory because they prefer taller over shorter, or a slim build over a larger build?

I like them, as well as tall men. I am 6'1" so not all of the shorter guys like me. I am haha scary too tall for some of them though (hey that is what some managed to tell me) and for the tall guys, some of them do not want to see me eye to eye LOL. So I just cannot win. LOL

I'm 5' 8". My ideal height range for a man is 5' 8" to 6 ft even, but I have dated men outside this range because there was other things about them that I liked.

...Never done it...but I think it would be so fun to take a woman to dinner in a very fancy place ..who is at least 4 inches taller than I..and with heels..well..you get the picture...

...I can just imagine the table chatter when folks see us together...and speculating on it could be a great way to spend a few minutes waiting on our appetizer..;)

...Seriously though..most of the women I see on here are taller than me...so if I had a thing about not dating taller women...I would seriously be limiting the number of perfectly wonderful women available to me out there....

I usually only date guys that are taller than me. I think to me, a lot of it has to do with their masculinity. If I'm taller than a guy, then I feel like he's a little kid. I like the comfort of a guy that I can look up and into his eyes, even if it's just a couple inches. I love TALL men!!!
