Hey Summer I actually agree with you on that one, it is a recipe for disaster...........sort of a history of doing the same thing. The only thing is what can I do about literally being physically ill if I even try being with someone that doesnt fit with what IM attracted to.

I said I was tired of always having to try and deal with it, so I just keep doing whats familiar.

You're preaching to the choir. I am habit embodied ----that's why I have to sit around and think about why I do the things I do and why I'm attracted to whatever.

@ summer - at least you think about it. Some people don't and just continue to make the same mistakes over and over

Very good point! If you don't go out with girls because they have a few extra pounds, you have no right whining that we won't go out with you because you're short!

The good thing about a man being the same height as you or just slightly taller is that it makes it very easy for him to push you up against a wall and kiss you -- no cricked necks on either side.

Yeah, yeah, I know ...horizontally, it doesn't matter ... I'll save that one for the girls that are taller than me!

You're only 5'3", heck, I didn't figure that a woman that tall would care less at that ht. because that is falling in the "Sweet N' Petite" category, and well, figured any of any ht. would do. To a 5'3" woman, any man would be considered tall.

I am 5'8" so I guess I just make the mark .lol.

"@WHat's wrong with a guy 5'3 dating a girl 5'3............that cute, adorable and if your rather focus on each other and see each others sexiness in a whole unique light...you'll be a happy person !!"

Actually, I know of a couple like that, I think they are both like 5'2" / 5'3" and it looks like they adore each anyways. lol

I guess it just bothers me that no one wants to look inside themselves to find any answers for why they feel a certain way.

Ding, ding, ding! You have caught the correct! (a saying from another forum I go to once in a while)

And Hambone, what's this "sweet N petite" bit? I'm 5'5" and I'm still sweet. And I'll beat you up if you don't think so.

I saw the pics of you grappling. Judo? Akido?

For myself, I've enjoyed the following--boxing, wrestling, and Tae Kwon Do.

Nevermind. I just had to read your profile: jiu-jitsu.

You're fooling yourself, chauv. I'll tangle with a long-limbed guy before I'd tangle with someone my size. Those long limbs bend and twist so nicely, and it's so much easier to work the inside where a bigger man has little power--i.e. no momentum and no leverage.

why settle for someone inferior?

Wow linne, that's a tad harsh, don't you think? Just cause a guy is short, does that really make him inferior?

Sorry Hambone....being 5'3" I am always attracting the shorter men on online dating. There is nothing wrong with dating a man my size but IM NOT INTO IT.....its not a turn on....I like the man to be over me, actually towering over me. Yeah and 5'8" is really my limit. I once met a man from Lava who told me he was 5'7" we got along so well, laughed and he was super hot when it was time to meet face to face guess what...........I wore 3 inch heels and he wasnt 5'7 like he said more like 5'5" I was able to see the top of his head.......and ok ok it wasnt because he was short...............IT WAS ONCE AGAIN BECAUSE he lied about his height. WHY OH WHY OH WHY do you men lie...................

July...thing is, women your size shouldn't be able to tell the difference between 5'7" and 5'8", because in theory, but in practice, that at your ht. you probably can't tell.

Nah, if he didn't lie, you wouldn't have gone out with him in the first place. ;-) Lucky him it was a perfect opportunity to meet you in person, and perhaps the interaction alone would overide his parameters online?

Well, I could do with a little competition ;-) I like putting those "color belts" in their place every so often. ;-)
