| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 2/3/2006 11:02:33 PM | I just have to boast
I took this test http://similarminds.com/intdoor.html
& got
Your overall percentile is 79% which means you scored higher than 79% of the people who have taken this test. The internet population tends to be more intelligent so your percentile might be higher if the test taking sample was perfectly random. Keep in mind, taking this test more than once will render your percentile score inaccurate because the percentile score assumes these questions were fresh to the test taker.

| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 12/20/2006 8:48:31 AM | | I've taken it at a few different sites now, and I'm an ISTJ - at each site. It really seems to have nailed it... I remember taking this when I was younger - I wish I remembered what I was then - wonder if it's the same, because I know I've changed. Now, how do I get a potential mate to take this test? lol - kidding - I couldn't care less - we either click or we don't. Don't need to take a test for that! | |

| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 12/21/2006 5:28:12 PM | ^^I think you're right. I am INFP but I like ENFP women. I'd date other types, too. But POFers, according to this thread seem to be overwhelmingly introverts.
Which begs the question...what did introverts do before the internet??
|
| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 12/21/2006 5:33:09 PM | ENFJ, sometimes ENFP, as I usually score 50 percent on J and P, or close to it. Definitely not an introvert. | |

| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 12/21/2006 6:50:14 PM | I have taken this test twice. The first time the company I worked for asked employees to take it and then took it again about 15 years later. I am an INFJ...both times.
Jungian functional preference ordering:
Dominant: Introverted Intuition Auxilliary: Extraverted Feeling Tertiary: Introverted Thinking Inferior: Extraverted Sensing
The Protector
The INFJ individual is gifted in ways that other types are not. Life is not necessarily easy for the INFJ, but they are capable of great depth of feeling and personal achievement. We are supposedly only 1% of the population.

| Myers-Briggs: What type are you? Posted: 12/22/2006 12:01:40 AM | I think there is a bit of a misconception, about introverted vs. extroverted.
According to my Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) narrative report, it says this about each definition:
Extroverted - when you are in the extroverted attitude, you relate more easily to the world of people and things outside you.
Introverted - When you are in the introverted attitude, you relate more easily to the ideas and concepts in your mind.
The misconception being, that people naturally think that introverted people are shy and perhaps withdrawn. It's not always so.
