| Do women mind single dads with kids
Posted: 10/25/2007 3:07:29 PM | I'm with most of the other women on here - I would prefer to date a single Dad, preferably one who has at least shared residency if not full. Most of these guys have it tough - so much support and sympathy for single mums but not for the dads.
Single Dads understand what being a parent is really about and the pressures it involves - they have realistic expectations about how the relationship can develop. Bring them on!!

Additionally, i like kids so i positively enjoy them being around. | |

Matter a fact, it seems to be a positive when it comes to single moms.
I mostly date only single moms.
Doesn't bother me at all, and if it bothered the woman I am wanting then she probably isn't what I want anyway.

Posted: 3/27/2008 4:43:09 PM | I think its great 2 c fathers on dating sites,i have 6 kids,n doesnt stop me from looking,im more likely 2 choose a man that has kids cause he will have first hand experience n knowledge on how 2 deal with kids n think men that have their kids r more likely 2 have more patience and understanding than a guy thats never had children, but u no it can just be as difficult for a woman that has children to find a man that wants a relationship with some 1 that has a ready made family, you will find some 1 eventually that will take u seriously and want the whole package it will be worth waiting 4, gd luck with ur search  | |

Some women want to date men that have kids and others do not. Same as it is with men I am sure. I just think that if you have been there and done that then you understand more. Posted: 1/12/2009 6:24:56 PM | I think that some people immediately jump to the conclusion, that if you have children, what happened to break up the relationship with the partner and also fear that it may happen again, so they dont want to risk it.
Fears come from a variety of reasons and based on ones experinces. How people choose to deal with their fears is not something that you have control over. If having children is the reason for a lady not wanting to be with you, then you definately do not want to be with her. | |

We are very independent, which might scare them a lil....but its a good thing! we got to be, just as well as a single full time mom is...
A woman with out here kids is a woman you dont get involved with!!!

its very hard for single moms, but its very hard for single dads also....

I'm currently 52 years old, already have 3 kids with just the 1 at home (a senior in high school) just like my profile says. I know people a bit younger than myself and older as well and they have some very young kids and teenagers because they had their kids later in life. So for me, i've already raised kids for the past 30years and i'm just simply done not to mention I raised them alone. | |

I would like to meet a a man with 1 child or even 2 because he understands and has first hand knowledge of being a parent. Single dads raising their child/children full time on thier own get a thumbs up and should be respected and treated the same as single mom's. If girl's run cause you have kids she is not the right one ....parents need a partner to run with them not away! | |
