Maybe it is our consumeristic mentality (is that a word?) telling us nothing average is good enough.
I can't help feeling jaded, and I've changed my profile. I've come to the conclusion that the ladies on this site are not serious about finding the sort of guy I am. I question what they value in life.....I don't think I am a bad choice. I think most of the women using this site enjoy the ego boost of having men ask them out, and it is free entertainment. They can even view the profiles and boost their egos more by saying no to anyone who isn't up to their imaginary level......
Hey, what is their level anyway, and what makes them think they deserve 50% of my family's wealth? What have they done to earn anything I own? And what do they bring to the table? I am sure there are women on this planet who'd just be happy you got running water in your house....Man we are spoiled here.....If being a good man isn't good enough, then why should being a good lady be enough? Show me the money then.....LOL! I am just kidding of course....I'd just like to find someone nice....where do I go....where do I go.....?
I am going try a paid dating service in the new year. I figure this will weed out the women who are playing games....expensive being picky and silly....less fun. I'll avoid any service that depends on emails and internet to avoid the women who play email tag, too afraid to meet someone in person. And if I still don't find anyone nice locally, maybe I'll consider looking elsewhere. I know there are nice women out there who deserve a nice guy. | |

I think I'll leave it up to the ladies to write me from now on. If I get an email I'll write back, and do the respectful thing. In the mean time I think I'll be looking at other venues to find possible dates. Happy fishing to all...... | |

I wouldn't say that I am less than perfect, although I haven't had one email on this site, I'm not going to let myself get down about it.
I'm not going to email every guy on here either... to myself it would seem to derperate..LOL
I just have a gut feeling that ther is someone out there for me... and when the Great Mother says the time is right .. we will meet ....
OK OK kinda hokey... but there has to be some hokiness other wise life would be very boring...LOL

you got xmas tree shopping,, those buggers have the tree all wrapped up,, you think you know what your looking for and pick the one you think is just right,, but when you get home and let it slowly thaw and unfold,, you see there are some flaws,, shit sometimes you get one of them with a curved trunk so bad,,,, sheeesh that belongs in rednecks thread hehe.. but the point is,, a month? a year? how ever long it takes, it will take, and no use whining over it,, you just might scare a good woman off with all your milk tears. | |

My point being that this is a dating site.....one should assume people are here to date....yet many it would seem, are not. Also if you say there is no time limit....then what does it matter if I've only been on line for however long? I could find Mrs Right tomorrow! Anyway, I haven't been given many opportunities to see what the tree salesman has to offer. The trees are too bashful....LOL.
