| FAKE PROFILES
Posted: 6/5/2006 7:43:20 PM | I don't care what anybody says about how bad this site is, I met bad ones and I met good ones, and like everything in life, it's the good ones that make it worth while, I have learned many valuable things about myself here and I will never regret posting on this site. The people that never find what they want are the picky ones that aim to high and forget that the ones that they go for are also aiming to high, so the higher you aim the lonelier you’ll be, remember that the perfect 10 don’t need to come here.

| what I think is a fake profile
Posted: 7/15/2006 10:35:11 PM | It's funny to look at this discussion and see how many profiles have vamoosed/deleted/have gone up in smoke. Maybe they were all fake profiles? LOL 
What is a fake profile for me is someone who has obviously created multiple accounts...they use one as their public persona, and then use the other accounts to trash various people, make trouble or maybe even act like fans of their "real" profile. I ask myself....why would someone waste their time doing that?? Because it is a useless and pointless exercise. The time they waste with trolling could be put to better use in real life, or in actually trying to meet people.
I am far from perfect, am no angel, and can understand why people don't put their pictures up on an internet dating site. I know that I am a shy person (yes ppl would be very surprised to hear this) and it took me months of being on POF to have the guts to upload a real picture.
It's interesting to see the many definitions people have for what constitutes a "fake" profile.
OK....my rant is finished....for now...LOL

Posted: 7/16/2006 10:59:43 PM | | Hey what the hell, people want to post fake profiles, you can’t avoid that, I’m sure if we had to pay to post here there would be no fake profiles, I met so many here that post fake profile’s, I think every profile here is fake in a way of speaking, it happened so many times that I met woman here and they don’t look one bit like they looked on there picture, and how many fake description’s about them self. And I could not even start with how many I met that lied about there age, even up to 10 years difference. God even one of them was not even a woman, it was a man dressed like a woman, their are so many special basket cases here. I say just use your judgment and common sense, if something does not look write don’t chance it. If someone does not have a pic or does not spend some time creating an honest profile about them self, then hey, don’t you think your wasting your time? If someone was really serous about there profile and does not want to put a pick at least say something in your profile, spend more time telling about yourself. Let me tell that I did it, even with no pic, and it’s been working great for me. | |

| FAKE PROFILES
Posted: 10/14/2008 11:05:28 PM | 90% of the female profiles in intimate encounter and other relationships are fake and you know who is doing this-- POF . It 's their marketing gimmick. If you see any profile where the about me is written not in paragraph format(but every sentence in a different line) that is fake profile. And i know the profiles are created by POF. I dont want to mention the proof because it helps me to find which profile is fake. If i tell, POF will change their way.
