Sometimes "My Immortal" by Evanescence makes me cry...
When it came out for the first Gulf War, "Voices That Care" by Voices That Care, which was a buch of celebrities and musicians doing a big super sappy song for the troops. I was... what 11 years old? I think I still have the single somewhere... *lol*

Uhmm... "It Can't Rain All The Time" Jane Siberry (she sings 'won't', but the title is still 'can't')
