Posted: 12/1/2005 9:28:08 PM | Another vote for terran; in my opinion, the only significant downside to being single is that it gets really comfortable; you're more inclined to maintaining your various freedoms. Socially this makes you seem "set in your ways", to some.
Sex is not necessarily a problem, but if you were having it with someone *that* good, you probably wouldn't be single.

Someone with whom laughter becomes contageous, even when no-one else understands the joke. Someone who listens when I am blue and offers a hug instead of opinion. Someone to kiss when I walk through the door. But the biggest thing I miss because I am single, is not missing anyone.  | |

Your a very attractive girl and seem to be sweet, so don't worry angel you will find him when you least expect it.Maybe even here,at least your trying. Posted: 12/1/2005 9:59:01 PM | I thought about this question and wondered if I do hate anything about being single..... I am not alone because I am surrounded by dogs and horses. I have great friends whom I chat with quite often. I have a male friend (strictly platonic and he's married to one of my close friends!) who comes out and helps me when I need it - things like fencing or fixing machines, etc., so my life is quite filled.
My crocheting new bikini designs take up all my free time, so I am not at home crying in my soup with nothing to fill my time.
What I do miss is the companionship of a close mate, one who knows what I'm thinking, who calls me sweet names, helps me make big decisions, calls me in the day just to say hi and make me feel loved just for thinking of me while at his busiest in his day, keeps me warm at night (but have to admit, my dogs sleep surrounding me and are toasty warm and they are each almost the size of a human). I am not pining for a mate, though, and if I was, I fear I'd settle for just anyone to fill that space. When I connect with my mate, I'm sure I'll wonder how I was able to handle going so long without him.
Really though, if I didn't have my animals who give me so much attention (and demand lots in return LOL), I'd be making a looooooong list for this thead. | |

Posted: 12/1/2005 11:52:59 PM | There's so many things... pros and cons to being single or together, but the thing I hate most about being single is the lack of expectations. It's prolly not someone I get excited to talk to on the phone calling, not someone I'd get excited to see driving in the laneway.... I dunno if I've worded it right, but there you have it.

Those times when your out some where and you see, for instance a beautiful sunset, and you turn to share that moment, but there's no one there. When your at home and something you see on T.V. and you turn and there no one there. I can handle the being alone, it's the being lonely part that sucks. Oh and SEX!!!! LOTS N LOTS of SEX!!! | |

I also hate the fact I can't sit and cuddle on a couch while watching T.V/Movies

No one to to go take a walk in Waterloo Park with right now since the festival of lights are going on...
