| What do you hate most about being single?
Posted: 12/2/2005 8:03:46 AM | Here's one a woman told me. (We both like to travel and see new things. How many times can you see Florida, Cancun and Jamaica.) Anyway, she was standing on the beach at sunset in Pago Pago (don't ask) and she turned to say how incredibly beautiful the sunset was...and there was no one there.

It was a story on our local news. It's a large pillow shaped like a human torso (no head or legs) with one pillow arm coming off it. So you can cuddle with it at night or sleep with an arm over you. | |

Posted: 12/2/2005 10:04:27 AM | It is always great to have the freedom of being single but i don't know about everyone else but i am sick of people not believing that i could be single and yet untill i meet the right person...by choice! Like there must be something wrong with me since i am not a single mom or out looking for that great man everyday. and as for not having a man for functions...it is easy....make your bestfriend a guy! i have a great guy in my life who is also single but such a good friend and when ever either of us have somthing that we need a date for....we call on each other

Figuring out what to do with leftovers (food, not men), taking out the garbage, trying to figure out what that sound is, everything electrical, Saturday night. (except that I am sometimes secretly happy to just stay in a watch TVO old classic movies) Shhhhhhhhhhhh, it's my secret. | |

Posted: 12/2/2005 10:39:04 AM | sometimes, when it's raining and there's no agenda for the day... i think of how nice it would be to stay in bed, make love all day while the rain hits the windows. i quickly ' get over it ',grab a book and am ever so thankful nobody is reading over my shoulder. | |

With no one to snuggle with.
Especially in winter.
then getting up.
And having to make my own coffee!!!!!!!!

I'll keep it short.
I hate being the only one to rip on a movie (a la MST3K), I hate the lack of hugs and kisses, I hate cooking only for myself, I hate the cold bed, I hate the lack of sex, I hate the lack of conversation, I hate having almost nothing to come home to except my cat, and lastly I hate the fact that all day, every day, I see other people holding hands.
But also I agree with the OP. I love the Freedom, the Timetable, and uh...er...the Freedom. Remember that the above list is the best case...and that's not always how it is. People argue, have differing opinions, et al. A relationship without arguements is a psychotic relationship.
Comes down to this: Do you want to be lonely or annoyed?

Posted: 12/2/2005 11:18:10 AM | I miss the little moments where only the two of you know what's going on. Just having someone over 4 feet tall that knows you well enough that you can sometimes communicate without words. Does that make any sense at all?
