I've got to say, I love balding men, receding hairlines, the whole bit. Throw in a goatee and hairy chest and I'm yours for life LOL

I'm not a fan of shaved but do like the buzzed short look -- actually the feel of it :)

I think balding men ,,, are sexy,,,

it is the first attraction that woman see on a man,,
it hides there age,, and put a suit on them,, yummy,,

so why do some men hide it ,, with a hair piece,, not sure,, because some times that is more ugly because they seem not to put the money into a expense one

hmmm **looks at hair chest** **rubs gotee with a thinker look** Wonder what to do with receiting hair lines*** .... really now Sharinda?, we must talk more.

Well OT, Everyone in my family is bald, and I mean the men of course. although my grandma's both started losing there hair before they died! ok so I have now just started noticing these umm lines.. and am getting worried. I thought i was going to be the only one getting away with it, since they were all bald before 25. and me sitting at 32 still going strong. Is it right to blame ball caps? Because I've been wearing them more the past 2/3 years.

anyhow, If it starts getting worse then I'll give the shave bald a try, In the summer I cut it really short and I don't mind that look soo.

-Froggy

P.S. Robert I used to have hair like that :)

I plan on being buried with my hair... all of it.. My pop has all his hair

Sorry Robert, that won't help you. The baldness gene is carried by the X chromosome you got from your Mom. It's the combination of the X chromosome and testosterone that causes baldness. And because she has 2 X chromosomes (1 from her father and 1 from her mother) you would have to look at both sides of her family to get some idea of whether you will keep your hair or not.

hi folks this is a crosspost from other forums, but my way of saying hi!

First off, wow this threads running a long time!!
secondly, think i beat all of you baldies hands down. lol
I am bald by choice 16 years now.
been shaving my "beautiful blonde locks" as my mom still insists on calling them.
Yes i was blonde. beautiful, hardly lol
i started shaving because i had seen one or two men like that plus getting a short haircut done here in cork was awful

I only had one good flattop which is what i was looking for back then with #1 back and sides.
second time i went to a different place, about 3 months later and the dumb barber thought a flattop was #1 all over with just the fringe/bangs left.
So here i was basically stubbled headed.

i went with my platonic friend to her friend who was a hairdresser as she was getting her hair done anyway that day too. all the time she kept laughing at me and saying "baldy!!" and laughing
so muc so that the friends hairdresser offered to shave me bald.
she was kind of cute long curly blonde, so what guy could turn down that offer
i came out smooth shiny bald..and was made such a big fuss of in the chair i was addicted!!
bald ever since, one or two forced grow out phases, which i hated only done at my moms nagging for weddings etc.."grow some hair will you, dont embarass me". that kind of thing.

now i love the feeling of beign shaved by someone and doing it myself of course.
I have never had the experiences you have had.
I am in ireland and in 1991 if you were bald it was either thru chemo or thru alopecia, it was not a style choice.

Only in the last year or two have i seen young guys choosing to be bald, and then you do usually see them with good looking women, impossible for me at their age when i was bald. I tend to prefer more mature women anyway, and i think they are more open, know more about whats important than just a look or whatever.

Only when in london or in dublin, have i had someone compliment me out the blue and say "that looks good on you"

Now if only i can get this broken nose fixed :-)
btw what do the women think of the profile pic?
keep or loose the goatte, which is red, from my fathers genes, head hair blonde (as you can tell by eyebrows!) from my mothers side.
(in the pic its a bit long i normally keep it a little bit more trimmed than that)

Anyway it seems american women are much more outgoing and are ok with doing that kind of stuff. here in cork, a small city of 150,000 and still in the dark ages in some respects thats a no no!
hell they cant buy a pint of beer, still insist on buying halfs in case they seem too easy!
But i digress, wildly lol

To answer some other posts,
Yes i like bald women, but not exclusively!!
as long as the woman has a sense of humour, is up for the "craic" as we say here, and well can shave me without my needing a blood transfusion, then im up for it too!

Stay strong, stay happy, and best wishes,

Mick.

I'm bald by choice also.....I shave my head all the time. Sometimes I get lazy and let it grow in a bit in the winter, but otherwise I shave it all off. I also like the look. I used to have hair down to my ass in my high school days and I can tell you what a pain in the ass it was to get ready to go out. It's much easier now.

I say just shave it off who cares - only the guy who's head is balding right. Women really don't care about your head if they love you. And patchy heads just look bad - SHAVE!

My hair has been thinning now for a couple years.I decided I was going to let my hair grow as long as I could and shave it off after I raised money on bets that I wouldnt shave my head and all the money going to the Cancer Society and my hair going to Locks of Love(the people who makes wigs for cancer victims)

Actually, could say the same about long hair...........( & I used to have it past my shoulders / no criticism intended)......
Like your clothing, not really what you wear, more how you wear it............

I have to disagree I think long hair especially when in comparison to bald heads has a lot more individuality, colour, texture wavy, straight lots of options
