Posted: 6/21/2006 2:47:19 PM | I was one of those guys who thought he could comb it over and like, no one would notice. Yeah right. A gust of wind and it was a weird effect with hair sticking right up. Then I started having my hair cut as close to my scalp as possible.
But it was just before my open heart surgery in 2001 I decided to take it all off. I figured it would be easier to handle after the surgery as my range of motion would be limited. I loved the look, everyone else did too, so I just kept it. Only problem is I don't always know if I leave a little patch on the back of my head or if I nick my scalp. But this is for life.
I see other guys with so little hair doing what I used to do, comb it over. Take it off ! Take it all off dude! | |

I have no desire to shave my head... too much work... and besides I get no complaints on how I look from women friends or my GF
I don't think you need to "hide" your baldness with the shaved head look... There is nothing wrong with going bald... it is natural for alot of men... As long has it is well kept...
And no offense to men who do this if they like it... but I would never do the shaved head goutee thing... Just not me...

heres your two desires....we'll keep shaving our legs and armpits every other day just to keep you happy. any idea what a pain in the butt that is?????shaving one's balding head so the comb over is gone isn't too much to ask....or maybe we should just let the grooming to look good go, after all.....i personally couldn't care less if i had harry legs if i were alone, or even make-up, or pretty nails...or nice stylish hair, or...should i go on....we usually do this just to attract a mate.....and let's hear your daily routeen to impress us???, lmao.....don't yell at me for this one guys | |

I know very few balding guys who do a comb over... most of us change/adapt out hair style to fit are hair loss... most most guys I know including that is keeping it short...
Again... for guys that like the shaved head or shaved head goutee combo... go for it... but I certianly don't feel like it a requirement for being/looking sexy... And I get alot of compliements from women on my shorter hair (number 3 clipper cut)

oh thats nice to say about your ex. Looks like somebody got up from the wrong sside of the bed this morning!! lol
It really depends more on the face then the shape of the skull. If someone has a nice face then thats what matters. !!
I mean as most people don't have a bad skull, there are very view that I've seen that have those awkward bumps and so forth. I always say, better having a bigger head then a smaller head then average.
But it's not right to make a big deal about it either way I feel. | |

My ex husband was almost bald and I tried to convince him to shave it totally, but he was hanging onto dear life what was left, although he kept it very short so nothing flapped to the left in the wind! | |
