| If you had your choice to travel tomorrow where would you go? Posted: 4/27/2007 4:27:25 PM | Hm... I don't like to go where I can't pay my own way, and I'm in no shape (yet) to pay for something like traveling, so choice or not, I wouldn't go. Didn't go when it was offered either, and let me tell you, it's not easy to turn down "anywhere, anytime" if you love traveling.
BUT - ask me again when I get on my feet and can afford it It'll be South Africa to see great white sharks jump, followed by an Alaskan cruise (just for the views and the food and for getting spoiled a bit), followed by a cross-country trip in a motorhome to find all those out-of-the-way places that are just begging to be photographed and written about, and for a recentering break, a week of camping at Wawona in Yosemite in November when the campground is mostly empty.
Big dreams... but dreams have a way of becoming reality one way or another, says I.

Plus the price is right and you see and understand how the world works when you see life in the Eastern world. The people are very happy there, smiple, and down to earth. If you can't take suffering then i would not suggest Cambodia, India, and parts of Vietnam and Philippines.

Posted: 5/15/2007 12:36:27 PM | There's hundreds of places i really want to go and see... but if i could only choose one, and it had to be tomorrow, i'd go with Vancouver BC. I've been there before and i never wanted to leave... I'd love to see Japan, Austrailia, Eygpt, Spain, or Brazil as well. Or go back to anywhere i've been in Europe like Italy, Greece, England, France, and Belgium I want to see the whole world!

Richard Branson's designing this space plane thing that will take ordinary (but $$) people to see our Planet earth from way out there.
I suspect I'll never have the millions, but if there's one thing I'd love to do tomorrow, it would be to see my blue and green home.

Scotland and Ireland first, followed by England, Italy and Spain. Then back to America to travel the entire length of old Route 66, complete with stops at the worlds largest ball of aluminum foil, Grand Canyon and the Cadillac Ranch here in Texas!
I'd also love to eat my way across America at every hole-in-the-wall diner and hidden treasure specializing in regional food like Alton Brown in "Feasting on Asphalt".
