| Wayne Gretzky is really starting to bug me. Posted: 5/17/2006 9:23:33 PM | | Gretzky can't be faulted because he has a **** for a wife who's gonna drag him down Yoko Ono style! It was because of her that he asked to be traded to LA (so his wife could pursue an acting career). Whatever happened to this acting career of her's? So she took him away from Canada. Then, she gets involved in this "gambling ring" and again drags his name into the mud, right before the Olympics! The guy's had a rough year, no doubt about it. Yet, he's remained classy throughout. He is truly one of the best players of our time. Do I think he's a great coach? No, but we can't be the best at everything! | |

Especially the Yzerman and Sakic comparisons. I remember Yzerman, whom was a great player, and one of the best; his best season I believe was a 155 point campaign. No where near what Greztky, Lemieux and even Orr accomplished. Now Orr's best point total I believe was around 145, but he won the scoring title one year which was unheard of in the league.
The other one on here running his mouth has yet to make any logical remarks. Even in regards to Crosby who is well on his way to becoming a great player. Once the Pens sort out their problems; and as long as they can hold on to their young talent, they should be a solid team in the future. | |
