You could just stand there and speak really slow... ...and hey, I like words I use them a lot, if I want to run along with my words and make you suffer from my terribly long sentences that is my issue not all of yours, you don't like it you can all bite me. hahaha

I use the dots quite a bit. I am not sure what I mean to stay with them. Usually something like a dramatic pause, or break in thought or something. Now I DO NOT understand the commas. ,,,<-- what does that imply? and, and, and? Maybe they are bigger talkers?

Three dots in the middle of text = ommitted text/speech Omitted words from the end of a sentence generally require four dots.

The New York Public Library Writer's Guide to Style and Usage though I think you can find the same explanation in the Chicago Manual of Style , 14th/15th edition. The fourth dot is actually a period.

I agree that certain things bother me. While punctuation is one, it is at the bottom of my list. Things that really irk me are: Apartheid Genocide Famine The World Bank Multinationals The IMF stale cheese and poor attempts at humour I hate me and these forthcoming commas,,,

I understand the excessive ellipses, even if they are misused, but what’s up with the multiple commas? I never saw that before joining this site. Is that a Canadian ellipsis? I’m definitely no grammar expert, just curious.
