| What is unconditional love to you?
Posted: 12/23/2005 8:18:06 PM | | For any mother or father who has gazed into the eyes of their newborn child for the first time, then they know what unconditional love is. A baby looks into the eyes of their parents with unconditional, pure love. That's what I would hope to find in a relationship, a woman who would gaze upon me with the same love, warmth, and purity of emotion as that newborn possesses for his/her mother and father. But that's just my thoughts. | |

Posted: 12/23/2005 9:08:03 PM | I knew unconditional love from the first viewing of my babies ... There is nothing that will ever compare to that.
All of us are capable of uncondtional love. It's easier to lock it off when you are are afraid you'll be hurt & re-hurt. Straight up-it does suck to be hurt.
Unconditional love is through the good, the bad, the ugly, the tears, the fights... Not all can achieve or are capable of recieving it because of thier own fears or past experiences.
Everyone is capable of it.

Posted: 12/24/2005 1:30:00 PM | I guess for me, unconditional love is where we love one another regardless of anything. We all have faults, none of us are even close to being perfect. It's not about picking out all the things you don't like or love about a person, but loving them inspite of that. Being able to accept one another for the person that you are. Looking beyond that physical attraction that so many are hung up on and look deep into the heart because when it is all said and done..that is where you will find true love because it comes from the heart within, not what is on the outside. So many are so quick to judge a person by what they have or don't have or by the way they look or don't look or because they don't like this or that about someone.
You see, I use to be slender and now Iam fat...and probably the reason why I don't get any responses to my profile...but that is okay because I know somewhere there is someone out there who will love me "unconditionally" as I will love them | |

Posted: 2/3/2006 12:22:05 AM | Some interesting views.But if you let someone walk all over you that was never unconditinal love.What it means is that say if they become paralized or sick you'll still stand by there side.If they lose a job there not instantly worthless.If they gain a hundred pounds it doesnt matter because there your best friend.
It is almost a myth cause most people today dont have strong enough morals to stick anything out.Its sad really.
Kaisers take on marriage counsilng is if you need to come more than once then get a divorce.Its to simple to just walk away.many peolple are to weak to take the road less traveled | |

I'll love my children forever, no matter what they do later in their lives. I don't believe it's possible to love unconditionally in a relationship. If my partner cheats on me, mistreats me or abuses my trust, my love for him would definately diminish, if not disappear altogether ... so it's definately conditional, and it should be. | |

There are some things which God would like you to do, read the Bible online.
lastly there are rules which you agreed to when you signed up. one of those rules are not to write in uppercase letters. two reasons its harder to read on our side, plus its rude.

I know with my children there are times when I feel would gladly give them away, but at the end of the day when their in their beds sleeping and I pop in to check on them My heart melts and all the bad feelings go away or when my 6 year old brings me in a coffee in bed (its so I will get him his breakfast) or after school when they say they have missed you and they love you. But there is not unconditional love for partners that is why there is a thing called divorce. And to the person you started this forum love is a two way street. Where was her unconditional love fot you? | |

I agree with Summer Teeth and Look In, except for pets I would put them in the same basket as partners. Family are the only ones that have your unconditional love. I respect anyone who has ever had to do this. This must be a form of unconditional love. | |
