| Which characteristics do you find LEAST desirable in members of the opposite sex?
Posted: 12/7/2005 7:17:30 AM | | Oozing desperation....when you know that it doesn't matter who you are-they would date you or just about anyone just to be with someone. Or when they don't try and get to know you and ask you questions other than the garden variety of where do you work, what do you like to do for fun....some originality/effort would be nice. | |

Passive-aggressive behavior, (that's for dogs and CHILDREN , people!!!)
Disrespect
Projecting YOUR issues and or crap onto me! (Thanks! I have enough of my OWN!!!)
Dishonesty (See passive-aggressive)
People who RARELY ask questions, but are SO sure that they have you "pegged" and KNOW who you are!
Men who can"t take responsibility for their own issues, but instead blame them on YOU...Like they did with the LAST gf, ex, and the one before that...and the one before that...Hmmm...is there a pattern here?!
People who present themselves as ONE thing in public and something totally dofferent in private... no integrity.
An ability to "re-write" history to suit themselves, regardless of the actual facts...
An inability to take responsibility or be accountable for their own feelings and actions, on even the most minor level...

Oh, except for the third thing about questions. For me it's always why do they ask a really dumb/ambiguous question and then demand I answer the question as stated without any clarification. I can be a literal thinker, and when I'm not sure I ask for clarification...

Posted: 12/7/2005 12:27:01 PM | I work in an ER around a lot of female RN's.......for me.....this whole modern day concept of "I am Woman.....here me roar".......I mean I just don't like the whole notion of Women thinking they are so "with it" because of social policies that call for equality......
Example.......there is nothing wrong with a female doctor or lawyer with the attitude of being "really with it"......because they are.......but for an RN with just some vocational community college to act like Hilliary Clinton and the next sureon general........PLEASE!! | |

Posted: 12/7/2005 1:23:41 PM | There are different characteristics for me that I would consider deal breakers the basic
lieing, cheating, substance abuse (drugs or alcohol), but for me the most important is someone who is not real....no one is perfect. NO ONE. I am far from it myself. and most things can be dealt with given the great qualities you love about a person outweigh the not so wonderful qualities. But you show me a man who has been insincere well that is a character flaw that I will notice. all other deal breakers derive from a dishonesty of the heart.
People will let you down, especially if you allow yourself to depend on someone for your happiness....Only you can make you happy...another person is just the icing on the cake that you already had in the oven.
I know the sincerity of my heart and I expect fully the receive the same from my partner....so for those of you out there.....
Be a person of your word
Keep your promises
Don't start something you you think you can't finish
and lay it all on the table. The real you that way the person that is loving on you is not misled. It is not fair to them and it is not fair to you. | |

I totally agree with you blast. Couldn't have articulated it better myself. This seems to be a recurrent theme with men in my experience. For me it is a huge pet peeve.
The biggest deal breaker for me though is bad breath. Uugh!!! | |
