Don't think this one's been covered yet. Where are we - I think 17,382:

(Plug in your own city in this scenario.) In my case, I live in Nanaimo, British Columbia and am hoping to find someone within reasonable commuting distance. I'll immediately seek you out if you put "Vancouver Island" as your city, or "somewhere in BC" or "across the pond" or "west of Hog Town" or "whatever". What is the harm in calling your city what it is?

My name is Clair Voyant. Having your city will clinch it for me. I'll show up at your door immediately if I don't have a last name, an address, or an e-mail address to synthesize the above from.

Nobody from your town would recognize you from the twelve photos you have posted. Great strategy.

You surely would not want to get more responses by showing up properly in searches, now would you? Heaven forbid...

Step # +1
Don’t set your age range correctly in your profile so that it’s showing 18-99, then put MUST BE BETWEEN X – XX YEARS OLD!! ALL OTHERS WILL BE DELETED! so that we know that you mean business about your age preferences.

I have one for you ladies...

In your profile put how much you want to meet a guy that is nice, caring, honest, respectful (a nice guy), then when they contact you, either ignore them, or if you do chat with them and eventually meet up with them, tell them that you think you would "make better friends".

P.S.- I am not whining or complaining about how "nice guys" are treated. Merely stating what happens. Do NOT e-mail me about this post, or post a reply starting an arguement. I will only call you a dumbass.

If you're a attractive lady. Just put up a few pic's showing how good you look and put "just ask" in the rest of your profile. Down to earth guys line up to e-mail profiles like that.

Man it took forever to read this thread. lol

State somewhere in a thread something that may yank someone's chain, and then instruct them not to think about responding in any way, shape, or form.....or you'll call them names. Pick up your toys and stomp off. Perfect example see post 403

For the men: Mention that your "perfect 1st date" would be to meet at a motel and then email women who are looking for email/chat. By the way, how is that profile working out for you?

"Step 9
If you're female, reword your profile to say how educated and introspective you are, but add a couple of bikini photos"

Ok. This isn't cool. Women can be educated, introspective and still look good in a bikini. You friggin' sexist oink!

If your looking for "no head games" or "Long term Relationships"

Yes please continue posting pics of you flipping the bird.....tells us how mature you really are...I think my boys stop doing that when they were two and it was only when they were told it wasn't nice!

#umpteen Rest assured all the posters are the one of your dreams. Don't waste time getting to know them a little, just leap right in, tell them how you can save/help/rescue them and inundate them with phone calls, dates, etc. Once on a date, be sure to keep the thread of conversation going on all the troubles in the world, your life, your past, etc. because we go on dates hoping to be bummed out. We sure don't want to have fun!

Too funny!

Guilty! You caught me. On second thought... I am not a crook

#umpteen+1 - Put no for smoking, that way we won't notice the cig in your hand.
#umpteen+2 - Put no for drugs, then proceed to tell us how much you love pot!

Oh .... and be sure to immediately jump into the sex and dating forums and proceed to tell everyone all your perverted ideas and how you hate just about everyone except yourself and you just don't understand why nobody is honest and sticks with you.

Don't forget to absolutely fill your profile with those stupid little smilies.

One or two if you want to emphasize something, but four rows of the bouncy little mutations are a little much.

Mind you, it does speak volumes.

By all means, when you become exclusive and your partner has put his/her profile on hide, be sure to keep yours set to "single...looking for dating". This will secure the bond of trust between you and your new-found love.

#765499066
Please ask for advice in the forums ONLY if you intend to a) ignore it; and b) insult the posters who disagree with your ideas.

Step 7890392348 if not said:
Put down anything except e-mail chatting. Then have a long extensive e-mail conversation with others (make sure it is very intimate subjects you want to know and be demanding about it) but will not have time spending five minutes in the real world with another on the site.

Make sure say you don’t smoke but then have a picture of you smoking.

Say you’re not married without children but then have a picture of a wedding ring, your significant other in your arms, and your kids in tow.

that just reminded me of another one:

-check "NO" where it asks if you do drugs. Then make several posts in your local forum joking about your marijuana use.

Start a thread complaining about your cheating spouse when your profile clearly states that you're single and looking.
