Obviously you are ignorant of the concepts of connotation and denotation, to say nothing of the fact that many individuals use personal, non-standard meanings for words. They know the dictionary definitions, but that isn't the point. They could care less if they are using the words "correctly" -- much less according to your definition.
I once dated a very innocent and sweet lady, who loved to wear slightly revealing outfits in the privacy of her home, and play the vamp for me. She would refer to her self as being "such a slut." Respect isn't about your likes, it's about who you are and how you treat people, as far as I'm concerned. Anything and everything a person chooses to do or not to do, and many times even the things we have no control over... make them who they are today, and if I like someone... then I like them. I prefer to get to know someone for who they are and go from there, holdin someones past or likes against them has never had a good outcome that I've seen. So long as they aren't tryin to force or pressure you into somethin you aren't into, I don't really see why it should matter much on all of the terms I listed.

True, Men think of it that way. It may or may not be a double standard, but it is the reality of how most men feel about it...
It's even worse if you know the guys involved... because let's face it, the guys that did it with her, love to brag, talk or make fun of her for it. Maybe that's part of the double standard. Women don't usually make fun of men thay've slept with.... whereas, many men do make fun of the women they slept with. The wilder or kinkier, the more they disrespect her.
