Ousu,

I guess I never looked at it like that...succession to the crown. That is an interesting way to look at things.

Anyway, I don't know if the Nobel Prize is a political thing or not, but many strange things happen in our world...

PP, I am a mum so I do not let my daughter to join the army just because of free driving lisence nor I do not send her in odd places. I am planning her to be our next president :) She is practising for it already, she is pretty good in acting :) Only problem I have she cannot tell lies without starting to laugh :(((

Ousu,

your daughter cannot tell lies? Maybe she would not be a good president, then, eh...just kidding...not lying is probably not a bad thing...but are you suggesting some presidents lie?

PP, ups... no, you are right. Presidents do not lie!!! They tell the truth we others do not know. Hmmm, my daughter's school is not going that well... but I think it is not the big problem. If she cannot find another post she can go for politics :)
To be a president here would not be that hard, after all, compared to the post of the president of Free world. This is just a small place, where we do just a little bit small business. The pressure would not be that huge.

Well Ousu, that would be good, then, your daughter could be president of a small country.
She would not have to have all that stress. But if school is not going that well, do you think she might qualify for office?

Aren't politicians all well educated? The leader of the free world sure is, unless somebody's lying...

One thing, though, if your daughter was head of your country, you might get a lot of perks, like meeting politicians from all over, maybe even the leader of the free world. You might have to learn what they call protocol though, I don't know...

But if your daughter runs for office, like that, make sure to tell her that even small places are important. See, it's all the small places that make up the world, what they call the big picture...

anyway, maybe her grades will improve, and she won't even have to consider politics...

PP, do you really think the bad education could ruin my daughter's career as a president :( But as I said she is very artistic... Hey, in the US there was one actor as a president! He seemed to be less stressed than Mr Bush.
What becomes to official visits, I might start to educate my daughter better. Nowadays she is calling all little boys bothering her "little bushman" or "terrorist"... I think protocol should be taught very well... diplomacy is so important. The respect needs to be earned and one does not earn it if he says whatever. I think we will start watching on daily basis some of the greatest speeches of Mr Bush on the tape. Do you think it would be a good idea?
Hmmmm, I think small places are important only when you are a president of a small country. If you the President of Free World you do not have to think such minor things. I mean, anyway, those smaller countries love him when he brings all the good to them with open arms. When you are big it must be so much easier to be generous. - And think, he even does not want to have anything in return.
If her grades will improve too much, I am afraid, she will become a technocrat or human rights lawyer which would be such a shame.

Well, Ousu,
I suppose not having good grades may actually work in your daughter's favour, as she could always say she didn't know. Some people get away with murder saying that, so to speak...

You are right, Ronald Reagan was an actor. He acted in what they called B movies, which is usually said to mean not great movies. So even a not-so-good actor got to be President. California has a governor named Scharzenegger, whom you may have heard of, and he is mostly muscles, you know, and that seems to work too...

Ronald Reagan was strong too. I remember him as not a bad guy, someone who held his own, as they say...

Listening to the greatest speeches of Mr. Bush would probably help your daughter. Does she already speak English?

True, the president of a small place would have smaller worries. But being a technocrat or human rights lawyer, oh, ousu, that could be quite a let-down. I mean, just now we were talking about her being president...oh well, some people probably don't have such big ambitions...

We need to think this carefully inside the family now!
So she has pretty good chances, after all, acting skills, lousy school grades (which of course can improve... in our neighbour, during their communist times, it was possible to improve your grades donating spark plugs - preferably made by Bosh - to the Dean)...
I like your suggestion about saying "I dunno". It is not a lie, isn't it? But does one pretend that he knows something even though he does not? If so then it is better to be a good speaker.

I know Mr Arnold. He is also from our neighbour. My nerd friends like him a lot since he is using often Nokia phones in his films. Maybe doing some body building would be worth of try, also. The masses like to have some "eye-food", and it might affect on who they are going to vote. - Do you think the President of Free World would lend those voting machines if my daughter will participate the elections? She is very fond of high tech.

Another question corcerning the outlook thing... How did the President of Free World manage to convince cameramen to shoot so that he looks equally tall as that other fellow?

My daughter knows only some English. I have been a bit sad since she has been favouring two other foreign languages. :( But I do not see it as a big problem since she can imitate the body language of Mr Bush already. I just need to convince her to stop raising her hand after the speech - our Southern neighbour had a small guy as their leader and he still amuses children. One could think he was Mr Chaplin (you remember the movie Dictator?) but no, Mr Chaplin never lived in the neighborhood.
Is the language and its use so important? I mean, one can always broadcast the speeches after modifying them a bit. I know some editors.

Pusu,

Donating spark plugs probably wouldn't get you good grades here, unless they were for a Ferari or something. But what a neat idea!

I think if someone really does not know something it is easier, but if they are even a bit good at acting they can always do like the wrestlers on TV...

Arnold uses Nokia phones? That rascal...

I don't see why the leader of the free world would not lend you voting machines. What do those machines do?

Camera angles have long been used in movies. There was an actor called Alan Ladd, who won an Oscar once, and they use to make the leading ladies walk in trenches beside him, too. In the movie The Green Mile, they made one man look ten feet tall. It was freaky...

Is Mr. Bush not tall? I always tall he was. He sure looks tall...

Well, if your daughter's English is not good already, maybe it could stay bad if she hung around the wrong politicians, which might actually work in her favour, I don't know...

You are right about editing voice. They can do the darndest things nowadays...

Mr. Chaplin played a man named Adnoid Hinkel, yes, I remember that. Very funny. Do you think he took acting or studied politics?

Ousu,
here a smack can mean several things: a slap or a kiss. Not sure which way you took that, or which way for me to take that?

Anyway, I hope I don't end up in politics...

PP, I think the value of donation depends on current situation in each country. The spark plugs did just fine in former USSR, nowadays I think they would ask for bigger donations. A nice post to a friend's friend could be a good idea. Or if you know there will be some work in future to do, let's say at random reconstruction work, so one could promise a deal.

Wrestlers? I think we use soccer players for that. If you want to draw attention away from your mistakes, you can always pretend you got hurt and blame somebody for that. It is good to have, anyway, an official scapegoat. Or better to have them two: one in your own goverment and one foreigner. Just in case.

You do not like Arnold to use Nokia phones? I need to consider to change that also, then. You know, I bought a Motorola for my daughter when she started her school but after a week she came home and said she cannot go to school with that phone cause everybody is laughing. You know how children can be!

The voting machines they count the votes, I think. You press the button and you have voted for the President of Free World. Pretty cool, isn't it!

I like the cameras. It is incredible what you can do with them. Personally I like Greta Garbo filter. - Though I think here it would not matter that much how you look like. Our current president looks like Moomin mamma (she even has a handbag with her!!! In cartoons she is beating with her handbag her husband when he is not doing what she wants! Does the First Lady practise the similar punishment with the President of the Free World?) - Anyway, we decided to choose this current Tarja as our president though she was a single mum, pasifist, member of honour of the association of sexual minorities + pagan. I think she would have a lot to talk with the President of Free World about common worries like democracy and human rights.

Oh, Bush is tall??? I must have been listening propaganda then.... You know how people are. If he looks tall in media, then he must be tall. Who would pretend to be something else he is?

Mr Chaplin... I am not sure whether he took acting or studied politics... is there a big difference? - If he had been Adnoid Hinkel, then not since political theater was very popular in Germany. Until it was closed for certain time period. They were talking naughty things about leadership.

Pusu means a little kiss. Not the French one :D

Yes, maybe we should not go for politics, none of us... We might say really stupid things! And when you are in politics you need to be careful. There are so many people listening you, and think what a chatastrophe if they believed us!

Well, Ousu, your president sounds like a charm. And I am sure the president of the free world would be the man for her to talk with about democracy and human rights. Human rights are very big with that president, as he is now working toward everybody in the world learning that very good lesson...

Does the first lady beat the president with a handbag? Gee, I don't know. If she does it has not been made public, though I have not checked the Inquirer for some time. Anyway, she has a very nice smile. It's almost perpetual, you know, like her face was worked on, but I doubt that...probably just a very happy first lady of the free world...

I really think Mr. Bush is tall. He is from Texas and that is a big state, you know...everything big there. On the other hand, I don't remember ever seeing him from the waist down...

Mr. Chaplin was an actor trained in politics I think. That's why he made such a good dictator in that move..

Talking about naughty things in Germany? I didn't think Germans were like that...more to it than sauerkraut beer and pickled eggs, then? H'm...

PP, yes, I really do think our president needs to meet the President of Free World. I think he could help a bit with welfare system and specially with education. It is said our welfare system is collapsing. It would be horrible not to have free welfare and education: can you image they even charge nowadays for a snack in the school - thank God the lunch is still free.

I am glad to here the President of Free World is putting that much effort on educating the rest of the world! I just hope that people would understand that and stop resisting.
We made a mistake in the past and resisted the aid coming from our big neighbour, and what we are now! Just a small population of oddities with own traditions. It is nice to think that the other nations can in future enjoy all those nice things the President of Free World has in his mind for them. Do you think Middle East people could have a Disney World as well?
(Ah, I need to apologize for my country here: we went and put xylitol in chewing gum... I hope you do not mind!)

I am glad for the First Lady :) She could enjoy the talk with our First Gentleman. I hope she likes the Arts as well since that has caused some problems what becomes to official visits... Once in Poland the First Gentleman disappeared and our president needed to reprimand him in public. I bet the First Lady knows better how to behave.

Ah, from Texas! I need to ask if our president originates from there as well. She is pretty big as well, you see. But not vertically.

Why haven't you see the President of the Free World from waist down??? What is there, down, I mean? - What does it mean when one says "no balls"? Sport term?

Ah, Germans, they are generally ok but I should not say anything. You see, when the neighbour was coming over our border Germany was only country to help us... Ok, we fooled them a bit but still... We have also other neighbours but they are peace loving. We are, too. Our only worry is that somebody tries to come and save us once again.

But back to the original question... what is that all talk about the mental illness of the President of the Free World???? Must be some kind of bushsh*t!

Hi Ousu,

Disney Land in the Holy Land so to speak...well, why not?

I agree with you, the people should stop resisting and come to their senses...when someone goes out of their way like that to educate them, they should be far more grateful...

xylitol? That must be hard to pronounce for you too...

"No balls...sport terms?" No, it could be that the president wears stilts, or maybe platform shoes, but that's probably not the case, as that would like being dishonest or hiding something...probably never noticed his legs...

Be careful about letting others come to save you, especially if you have other plans. For example, if I forced myself on you, well you get the idea. Sometimes some people don't seem to understand some parts of NO...

Bushsh*t...how good you are with wordplay...which is totally different from foreplay, or even five play, eh...

Holly land? Like Hollywood? You know, Indians - not those American ones - have Bollywood!
We have just wood :( and indefinite quantity of lakes! But we have two film directors you might know... they went to America, or just the other one since Kaurismäki refused to go and turned back in England since his friend, a foreign fil director, did not get his passport visaed. They wanted to give an award to this Aki Kaurismäki but he thought: since this other guy is much better than him, and Free World's president does not want him there, so for sure they do not want even him (cause he was not as good as that other one). So now Hollywood has only Renny Harlin there. We are glad since we did not understand his movies so much. A bit too violent and unrealistic.

If the President of Free World has some problems with his shoes, he could use "koturni"... in Ancient Greek theater they were used to make actors taller. But maybe that is not the case. Maybe he is sad cause he is so tall??? I mean, Napoleon and Hitler were very short men. But the size should not matter!

Educating people can be hard. I know it! So I really do understand the President. But if he just goes on, they get tired and give up. Like with children it needs some strenght sometimes.
(Do you know they called Stalin Father Sun???!!!! He was like a father to his people. I am reading a good book about Berija. He was the friend of Stalin and helped him to educate scientist who did not want to do their job. He needed to be stern as well.)

Oh, yes!!! The "no" is a "no". Still our neighbour was just intending good, I think. They wanted to save us from capitalism. And they sent us little notes from aeroplanes. But we thought it was not so good idea after all cause we are a bit different from them. We do not like that much vodka. We drink more beer.

I thought bushsh*t is an English term for talking about politics. I need to complain to the manifacture of my vocabulary.
