Ok semi-seriously, let yourself grieve, do what you need to heal, but don't try and seek revenge, life has a way of coming around and giving him what he deserves. Trust me on that darlin he'll get his, and you'll feel better about yourself if you take the high road. | |

With that in mind, if you never loved him, I know some guys who'll do just about anything for $50 and a keg of beer. | |

Posted: 12/15/2005 4:59:47 PM | I had a long realtionship with a very special lady. It had progressed to the point of living togeather. I was doing the ring shopping thing. I was actually in the process of having one made to order. What happens next? One morning the youg land I plasnned on spending the rest of my life with and rolls over and says she wants out. We had not even hard an argument-EVER! boy was I shocked.
But I got even.
It has been almost five years and I am going on and living my life. Searching for the "right" special lady.
Oh my revenge? I saw her daughter the other day, and it seams that she is spending all of her time alone and is complaining about never going out with a nice guy. Appears that she has some regrets.
I will admit that made me feel good...at first.
Now I just wish she would find the right guy for her. I still care for her and I guess I always will. I just want to see her happy.
Even when you do not "do" anything, revienge still sucks. | |

Honestly, the best way to get revenge on someone is to find someone who makes you happy. We all can settle with the fact that we may not be rich, good looking, smart...but to be undesirable is the hardest wound to heal. If she were to show this guy that loosing him was the best thing that has happened to her and she is truly happy now, his pride would be smashed. If she sent him pictures, called him, yelled at him, whatever, she would show that he is still having an effect on her. His ego is boosted. Make him insignificant. | |

What the transmission fluid will do will cause every rubber seal in the brake system to deteriate is a very short time. At some point in time his brakes will completely fail which will cause him to crash. This is the problem. When he crashes you cannot even predict who or what he will hit. Even though it sounds great where he will be left with a hefty bill to replace everything dealing with the brakes, such as master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, flex houses and flushing all brake lines the problem is you do not know what inoccent bystander could be involved. Therefore, even though it sounds tempting I have to say not to do it. | |

Posted: 12/16/2005 10:12:57 AM | It's okay to hate him. I have learned too late that my ex was worth hating...a loser that just kept coming back to keep stabbing it in. Hate him. Hate him for what he did... don't accept any of that behaviour. Hate him for who he is. Just hate him... eventually you get to a point of not caring anymore... and you have it so engrained into your head that he is the loser that you can get over it much better. If all else fails... pretend the loser is dead...
There are better guys out there then guys that will take you for everything that you are worth... including your heart... that is the most precious thing that a guy can get... and SHAME on any BOY that doesn't see that. Hang in there girl... things will get better. I do agree the best revenge is to be happy... he is moving on with his life and if you don't do things for yourself you are punishing yourself for his issues. Be happy that you have your friends, family and the people in your life that wil be with you during this time.  | |

The best thing you can do for yourself is find or do something that will make you a better person inside and out.
After my 20 year relationship ended (we broke up Dec 23, 1998) and then the 4 years after of fighting out all the details (he needed to keep the control over me), I decided I was a worthwhile person and have spent the last year and a half going to college full time.
It doesn't matter what my ex thinks about it. Revenge is such a waste of time. Do something that will make you say "I'm doing this for me, it's the best thing I've ever done for myself." The more you say it the more you will believe it. People will see the confidence this gives you and that is the reward. The confidence. Making the decision to finally get my education is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have learned and grown so much from the experience. Everyone says they see a differnce in me.
Work through your hurt and anger, use these emotions as your motivation to get on.
Some of life's lessons are not easy to learn. | |

He walked out one night - leaving me with all the responsibility while also taking me for as much $$ as he could (fortunately wasn't a ton that I could handle). It is better to take the unbelievably hard route of forgiving him (not for HIS sake cuz hes an idiot...but for her sake) Hate eats away at you until you cant get past the bitterness...and while shes busy hating, shes losing the smile that someone might fall in love with?? | |

There are so many of us who have been there done that. I too am one. It was not an easy road to forgiving him.. I learned much about the person inside of me and what was important.
He took, almost everything.. But you know what? He realizes now... that he left the most valuable thing behind....

If I have revenge.. it is knowing that he was foolish enough to take out the trash
and leave the treasure for someone more deserving. | |
