There is a movie called "Town without Pity" (1961-Kirk Douglass)
Maybe they can make a movie about your " County Without Beaver"
Hollywood will be knocking at your door!

I don't think distance should really be that much of an issue if you meet someone and you're both wanting to make it work.

I'm in Calgary, dating someone in Edmonton... We don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, but we still manage. No denying it can be hard, but I figure if a relationship can stand the test of distance, then everything else is pretty much just small stuff. I'm the last person who thought I'd ever see myself in a long distance relationship, but here I am, and I'm pretty darned happy :) Heck, I didn't even want a relationship!!! I'd sworn off men long ago! LOL

Sometimes you just gotta broaden your horizons and see where that takes you. Nobody ever said relationships were easy, whether the person lives in your city, or lives hours away, but if you're willing to put the effort in, the possibilities are endless.

Only if they have a booty draped in Calvin Klein boxers, buff like a stallion.

Of course there are lots of people that live in the city that are great people.

But your post reminds me why I like small town people so much.

if he/she is right for you... and the goal is to be together in the same locale at some point in the future... then no distance is too great.

that being said, ive set my limits at 10 km this side of viking. haha.

to you Lime!

What would you do if I lived 11 kms out of town?

I so agree with you on the distance thing.

Alot of people live in the same house and are a million miles apart!

hard to meet someone while living in the country, but if the city folk all tried to live in the country, then we would all be in the city and they just might like it out here so we have to be careful on who we invite to move

Back at the OP..... If both people are aware of the distance, and are willing to try and make the relationship work, does distance really matter??

That's what I wants to remind ... lol ... Well there's entertainment in big cities so we always have to run to big towns to have fun once in a while
