Posted: 2/25/2005 2:48:43 PM | i just wanted to drop back by here and wish all the lucky couples a very warm and heartfelt Congratulations.... I wish the best for all of those that have found happiness through POF.
For those that have yet to find that special someone, well don't give up and keep on being yourself and they will come along eventually. Just remember life is never easy and neither is finding that special person, but the time will come and when you meet them it will be something very special. You will know when you've met that ONE and ONLY it's something that you will both feel deep inside for one another... that you both will share for a long time. It's not something that's easily put into words but you will no without a doubt what it is when it comes along. Until then live life to the fullest....
For those that have found it you know exactly what i'm speaking of.... and i again send out my deepest Congratulations as I always love to hear of great Success stories.

I just wanted to comment on your observations. You are correct when you state that love should be forever. However, love can die and it most certainly can fade away. You see, I truly believe that love is like a beautiful flower. A flower must be watered, fertilized, and nurtured if it is to blossom into its optimum, magnificent beauty. Love is the same. Both partners must equally water, fertilize, and nurture that love if it is to reach its optimum potential. Both partners must care more about the other partner than about themselves. In short, love must have selfless devotion as its foundation as opposed to selfish. I hope you find your dream.

Posted: 3/1/2005 2:31:20 PM | I would like to set out my thanks to both shannon and italian...you both have been wonderful friends to me although I do not talk much with Italian as I speak to shannon. I just wanted to say thank you stephen for your words of encouragement you passed on to Shannon to pass on to me. I believe Pof has connected two people who I know really love one another and from here on I wish you both success, love, and happiness! Remember to be there for one another when it is needed most and may you always be able to communicate healthy to one another because from my own experiences, I always talked at rather than to, and believe me this is wonderful if two people can arrive at this. My past experiences in the last while have been wonderful experiences for me because I was able to communicate with them rather than at them. Today, I know the reason why this one man can not let me go because for one, I do care about him deeply as he does me, but he needs to do the necessary work to move forth and I do not want to be the other woman any more and that is why I am here. To find that special someone to share the rest of my life with and at times it is scary to proceed with another. I am glad you both took that risk and now look at you today! All the best to you both and I will always love you both as special friends of mine! Not only did POF bring two people together, they also created a great friendship between Shannon, Stephen, and I! This site has created many friends for one another as well partners! I just wanted to say you will be sadly missed by me when you guys leave and I want you to know I understand the reasons why and that is so you both can continue loving one another. You have found love, yes, and to hear stories as this, it keeps the door open for me! As for the ones who complain because they do not believe you should be on here anymore, well that is their own baggage my friends, it is time to pass them back their baggage and carry on with our own because we have so much to carry all ready. Do as you need to do but to always remember, you are loved by me forever and ever as your friend. Stay in touch and I wish you both the absolute best! I still pray for the ones who complained that you too will find love as these two did.

I am recently removed from a almost two year relationship with someone I still love dearly. She wasn't ready to be tied down and felt we needed to breakup. Less then a week later she already has a new boyfriend...:(. I guess we were just not mean't to be together either all together or just at this time. So I am just looking for someone sweet to be able to treat like a princess. I am 21 years old from Dover, Delaware. There is one success story I was a little anxious to hear a result of and that was of "Stranger something" he was to meet his girl on New Years Eve but never posted an update. Posted: 3/13/2005 2:28:29 PM | | About 6 months ago I inadvertently began communication with Arthur, the man I intend to marry. At that time, I really wasn't all that impressed with him, felt he was overbearing and obnoxious for most part.lol, however overtime he seemed to become calmer and most definitely a better listener. It has progressed to such a point that we will be meeting in Tennessee, and starting our lives together there. For the time being he is stuck in Arizona, as I'am stuck in Ontario. We have found out a great deal about each other in this 6 month period, since we are on the phone daily, plus we fall asleep together on the phone at night. He is presently helping his mom, who is quite ill but recovering. Anyways we found out how much we both think alike on so many issues, plus we are both in the natural lifestyle, you know the pioneer mentality; he collects seeds for our garden as I do. We both want the country life and have grown so tired of the social engineering. This is what I have sought all my life but never quite attained; now its in Arizona waiting for me..Happiness is not only what I know I'll feel in Tennessee with him, but here as well in the planning of it all. We actually met on pof, but via my daughter who had posted a thread regarding her heartbreak by a certain man. I came out here to speak up on her behalf, and at same time Art was speaking up for her as well. I sent him a thankyou, and from there it never stopped. Its put me in place where I feel life is just beginning for us both...love it, and him..Take care, and wish you all the best.. | |

I've recently met someone that is going to college near my home town and we have been spending time together for a bout a month now and it's been a ton of fun. I learned the hard way that some people photograph way better than they look. Before we met we had phone conversations but I didn't follow my gut instict. She also tried to tongue  me before she sat down. Even if she had been super looking that is really crazy trying to french someone without knowing anything about them. Major turn off! Anyway that's my two cents worth. | |

And she was like "oh my god, I wih you were here now" I had fun. I slept on the couch. (come on, I'm a gentleman). We talked a lot. I helped her out around the house. She's perfect. Oh my god. I hope things keep working out. I think I might actually be falling in love. I hope it never ends. I am the happiest and luckiest guy i the world. This lost soul might just have found his angel | |
