(no slashes for this please) skin needs to breathe. Well as for myself I don't wear makeup and don't need it, that's not just my opinion.
Anyhoee if I do feel like wearing a touch which is rare, I just place a little mascare on. | |

it's Natural all the way !! Except for Lipstick and some mascare...

I prefer a woman with little or no makeup The first thing that tells me is she's confident in herself and happy with how she looks.
I find it hilarious that so many men profess to like "the natural look", and yet spend so much time ogling professionally made-up, airbrushed, surgically-altered, silicone-enhanced supermodels, centerfolds, and actresses.
MYSTLW just like you said there good eyecandy and thats it. But I'm looking for a keeper so I'll take #1 thank you.

The ones that take 2hrs in front of the mirror are a scary site to wake up to in the morning when the make-up has worn off all over the pillow, its like sleeping with two different people, lol. Sorry I just don't like women that have to take over half an hour to do their face just to go outside. Be who you are and proud of yourself as you don't have to hide beneath a mask. :) | |

Posted: 1/20/2006 3:16:16 PM | I stopped wearing makeup after I turned 30. It just made me look older than I was. Recently I found mineral makeup, and that stuff is great. Very natural, blends perfectly, cannot really tell you are wearing makeup. It just evens out the skin tones and enhances the eyes and cheeks a little. Great for your skin and does not rub off on clothes or pillows.
(If any ladies want to try it, avoid the 2 popular brands, bare minerals and sheer cover. They have an ingredient that is synthetic and can irritate. Check out ebay for herbal basics) | |

But I'm a strange cookie.
I figure if you're going to be yourself, be yourself.
A little bit of makeup, meaning some lipstick and some blush and maybe some mascara but that's it. it should be light, barely noticeable.
I did some theatre classes and a professional make-up artist informed us that Makeup is only used to ENHANCE what's already there. it should never be noticed. Even when you're using everything in your arsenal it should be light and barely recognizable that you have makeup on.
Words to live by.
