The "normal" work out stuff for me is Madonna, Kylie Minogue, CombiChrist, the Blade Soundtrack, And anything else with a industrial/techno/house beat.

Disturbed, NIN, Linkin Park, Seether, some of Bon Jovi's stuff, System of a Down, Smashing Pumpkins and a few others......the ones mentioned gets played more than the others simply because of the heavy beats which motivates me to push myself even further than my body can take.

| Good work out songs? Posted: 9/25/2009 11:37:05 AM | Depends what you feel like but for working out I find the following works for me. Strength training and the gym right now are house music. Currently listening to the mix Subliminal Essentials 2009
If I am at the gym on an exercise bike I need something a little faster pace I will listen to hard dance/hardstyle and jumpstyle. Its music that runs about 150 beats per minute so lots of energy to keep the legs moving.
If your looking for pissed off music Rise Against has a couple of good songs on the subject :)
|
| Good work out songs? Posted: 9/27/2009 7:02:12 AM | | Devildriver, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Chimera and From Autumn To Ashes are in my gym mp3 player right now | |
|
| Good work out songs? Posted: 9/27/2009 2:28:28 PM | I'm not a big Metallica fan, though I do like to listen to Whiskey in the Jar, when I'm doing squats or bench press.
Other than that, just a general mix of stuff I like. Nothing too intense or anything.
|
| Good work out songs? Posted: 9/27/2009 8:29:14 PM | | David Guetta & Fedde Le Grande are my go-to DJ's right now. | |

|
| Good work out songs? Posted: 10/7/2009 4:02:38 PM | "It keeps you running" by the Doobie Brothers and other classic rock songs by them.
This is what we listened to alot of when doing weight work outs in high school.
Perfect rhythm for weight training and working out.

Anything off the rocky soundtracks. Songs like "hearts on fire", "training montage", "going the distance", "final fight", "no easy way out", and everyones favorite: "eye of the tiger"
Yessir. Even the songs intended for Rocky but ended up elsewhere ("You're the Best" on the Karate Kid soundtrack for example) are great to work out to.
Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer" was a staple in my high school weight lifting room.
