I loved my Thumbelina doll.

I had one of those! In fact, I have a picture of me playing with it on the Christmas morning I got it.

Also remember:

-marbles
-jumping jacks
-hula hoops
-skipping rope - when you were able to do the "Double Dutch" one, it was a major thing and you were now "cool" lol
-slinky
-yo-yos - I can't count the number of times mine got taken by the teacher for playing with it in class!
-spinning top
-ping pong
-toy badminton set
-my brother and I had matching jeeps - they were not motorized or anything, just basic
-EtchASketch
-walkie-talkies - so primitive compared to today's communication devices!

Games:
-Battleship
-Operation
-Trouble
-Monopoly
-Clue
-Checkers
-Sorry - I play it with the kids I babysit and still have a ball with it at age 45!
-Yahtzee
-Twister

Candies:
-gobstoppers
-candy cigarettes - remember those? They aren't allowed to be sold anymore
-PEZ
-pop rocks

"Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs."
