I am 25 and a female, i am in college and have worked full time on and off since i was 18. I pay for my education myself. I offered rent but my parents refused....probablly because they think i will demand more rights but, i am very greatfull for all they do and hope to be there for my kids while in college. I have had freinds who live on there own and "hate their parents", not sure why but, it seems some people don't enjoy there family like others do. However if you are not staying at home because you are working towards a degree or helping your parents out, it's not good. Note i also clean, cook, do dishes, laundry, bathrooms, answer the phone and run errrands!

Sorry I wouldn´t be able to have a relationship with someone living with his mom and/or dad either.

This is quite common....and I see no problem with this....these are the "college years" and if the students aren't living in the dorms.....they are living with the parents during their time in college. I did the same thing.

Now, I hear about 18 year olds getting the heck out of dodge as soon as they become legal age, and that's great, but I sometimes hear the ones that got the heck out of their parents house at that age, giving other people some flack about being 18 and still living at home. lol.

"What, you're 21 and still living at home??"

If you live with your folks for whatever reason, good enough reason for some or bad reason for some, and you are a male, it's a turnoff for most women.

For WHATEVER reason? Eh, that could be true. I guess the ol'

"I got laid off or divorced a month ago, and now I am living with my parents until I can get back on my feet" doesn't go over well?

I turn 30 over a month ago and I still live at home with my parents, I know that some people see this as a possible turn off, I just haven't found the right reason to move out and with the cost of living on your own these days it may be best to stay with parents, but some people have there own reason for that so we shouldn't judge a person just because he or she is still living with parents.

I don't sponge of my parents I either find work or some way to pay what I should like rent and buying food. I always pay my way for everything, and I would never think about sponging money of my mother or father.

I have thought about moving out, and give the right opportunity then I will it really isn't a big deal. You be surprised at how many adults are still living at home with parents and it getting bigger.

It is interesting how males are pretty much okay with woman living at home but for woman it is a turnoff.
