I personally like white loafers ,plaid pants, a wife beater and six gold chains. But i dont want to bring that big gun out till the third date to impress her

| What men should never wear on a date Posted: 5/19/2006 9:45:19 AM | Biggest fashion faux pas I have ever seen: A guy came out of the bathroom and he had tucked his shirt into his underwear and the waistband on his Hanes was well above the waistband on his jeans. UGH!!! Run away, run away . . . . | |

| What men should never wear on a date Posted: 10/15/2006 11:52:48 AM | I live in Texas now, so I'd have to say Stetsons, western shirts and cowboy boots are all ok. Otherwise I'd seriously be limiting my dating pool. :oD When in Rome... etc | |

| What men should never wear on a date Posted: 10/15/2006 5:22:39 PM | Every now and then I read a thread that I think is a complete and total waste of time and this is one of them...and sadly yes, I find myself responding, simply because the sheer ridiculousness of the thread found me with something to say. (This is but my humble opinion, of which we are all entitled and I do not expect everyone to agree with me)
(OP this is not a direct hit at you, please don't take it as such)
I didnt' bother to read all the postings...
My opinion is this:
..be who you are going to be, your personal style is an expression of who you are and if you can't be who you are from the very beginning of meeting someone, do you really want to be with that someone.
Each persons tastes are different...one woman may not want to date a guy with a mullet..big ole belt buckle and cowboy boots but I'm willing to bet there are quite a few who would..
Be exactly who you are - and you will attract the type of person you want to attract.

| What men should not wear on a date Posted: 10/15/2006 5:55:15 PM | Do not wear a, say, Sport coat, that you haven't worn for a while without checking all the Pockets! It was a bummer looking for my nice clean hankerchief for her to use and pulled out a previous dates thong. Say good nite to that nite !
p.s. didn't really happen to me, but it probably does happen.
A real true one is when I was looking in a dresser drawer for something, and my lady was looking and talking to me, and in one of my drawers was a very sweet purple bra that was left behind by some other lady. These are hard to explain, and you learn fast !! GTet rid of evidence, LoL !!
OP: Isn't it 'Tighty Whities' ?

| What men should never wear on a date Posted: 10/15/2006 6:23:13 PM | | Hi, In reply to your posting. I live in plaid shirts, cowboy boots, cowboy hat and big buckle. I am a successful investor with an IQ of 178. I am a hopeless romantic, a family man and have been described as a nice guy and good catch. If you are so shallow as to judge a man because he doesn't wear the clothes you think he should , then you are the loser here. You are missing a lot of good men because they don't dress the way you think they should. Who the Hell are you?? | |

Pinky ring
FYI - I spent 4 years in post-secondary education to get the pinky ring and the piece of paper to hang on my wall. It took took a bunch of work, headaches and alcohol to get it.

| What men should never wear on a date Posted: 10/16/2006 8:00:34 PM | FYI Pinky Rings:
There are a few professions where men and women are given 'pinky rings' as a symbol of both pride and humility for the professions - to name a couple, Engineers and Architects - Engineers rings are made from Iron and Architects rings are made from steel, I believe.
I think those types of rings are great and show off their hard work and dedication to their chosen professions!
As well, most of these 'pinky rings' cost between upwards of to $75K or more, when they are all finished!
