Posted: 6/2/2006 2:58:16 PM | is to believe in all of that and then scare the, pardon the pun, bejuses out of kids and some not so astute adults, into thinking that if you dont worship this relatively new religion that you will burn in the fires of hell. wow, another boogeyman story.
its sad but its true, we are like sheep. we follow the one in front. when we leave the herd some dog (add priest in here or xtian religion, judiasm, muslim, hindu etc) quickly shows us the way. we try so hard to fit in we make up gods and religions like hershey invents new chocolate flavors or coke invents or reinvents new flavors of cola. ancient druids, zeus, isis, mars, venus, neptune, thor and thousands of older religions believed in salvation after death or by being subservient to the gods you will be blessed by them. what a croc load of shyte.
there is no heaven, there is no hell. when you die, your energy leaves your body and is absorbed into the world. your flesh rots and maggots attack your corpse. over time your bones disintergrate and dissappear into the sands of time. the only religion gets right is "ashes to ashes and dust to dust" other than that its to control your thoughts and reasoning. | |

Most ppl think christianity is a bunch of religous fanatics who just trying their best not to sin so God will let them slip in the pearly gates. NO!!!! Christianity is about God's expression of love for humanity. Lets say you was the only person left o earth, you lived a hellish life not worthy of anything good. Then lets say God intervene and paid for your wrong doing so you can go to heaven. Now would u feel like you owed God something to cleave on to the gift? or receive it in praise? If you have to earn it by holding out faithfully then really its not a gift from God. Thats why ppl are blinded by the whole message of christianity. Read romans chapter 4. Grace or debt. If we believe by faith then its imputed rightousness. If try it by self effort it will be counted as debt. Yes we are saved and saved for good and thats all that counts. We're not going to be mored saved by cleaving on to it by holding out faithfully. | |

Posted: 6/3/2006 8:35:52 AM | | You accept what Jesus did on the cross at calvary that he died for your sins and was ressurected on the third day and that same spirit that raised christ jesus from the dead abides in your heart by faith.You identify with the new birth all things of old have passed away behold all things are new.But what you are talking about is what I would call wholesale soul winning with no real care about whats happening to the people who were saved on this doctrine.It is very wrong and deceptive.Makes people not wanting to pick up the cross and follow jesus.Once saved always saved where is that in the bible if you dont follow jesus you wont go to hell?Sin seperates us from God Christ died to reconcile?Right.Swaggart teaces Christ is the way the cross is the means.Faith is in the blood of Jesus | |
