| | HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG?Page 6 of 8 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) | | Why does a person need to "represent" something? Why can't they just do their job and, if in the public view, be held to a higher standard than the ordinary loud-mouths you encounter among your friends, strangers in a bar, your family? | |

| HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG? Posted: 1/16/2009 2:05:46 AM | | She's one of a kind and pushes issues that others journalists avoid or treat with polite ephemisms or slide around the cold, painful truths. The murder and abuse of small children and young women in this country has been treated as though it's relatively unimportant and to be expected in our society. The pain and helplessness, anger and agony of many of the husbands, fathers, brothers etc. of these victims is nearly as criminal as the crimes themselves. Initially I was one of those who thought she was overboard, however have since realized that she is doing something I only wish I'd had the talent and guts to do......we've waited a long time for someone like her. If you don't like her, don't watch her. She pounds away and I love her for it. No one is forced to go on her show that I have known about. If they don't like the hot seat they can turn down the interview. I can't stomach Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh so I rarely watch or listen to either of them unless I just want to make myself crazy and sick temporarily and remind myself that there are people who aren't decent or honest out there with a platform and they all have a right to their own opinion because this is still in some respects a free country. | |

And I agree jenniehart, she's a very strong and admirable lady. Would be nice if more people in law enforcement would dig to the truth as she does. Too many will / and do- turn their heads when it's one of their own that's possibly a part of it!

The full title is Objection! and reads on the cover "How High-Priced Defense Attorneys, Celebrity Defendants and 24/7 Media have Highjacked our Criminal System"
Just the title of this crazy woman's book leads me to believe exactly what I suspected about Nancy Grace. That she is a know-nothing, mediocre attorney who talks out of her ass for money every chance she gets. She committed prosecutorial misconduct several times when she was an ADA, and was berated by appellate courts just as many times for her inability to try cases within legal boundaries.
And so now she writes pulpish books for laypersons and rants and raves on TV while pretending she is a competent attorney. How cute.
Highjacking our criminal justice system indeed.

Posted: 1/16/2009 6:25:00 PM | | I don't mind "strong" and "independent" and "sassy" if they know what the F they're talking about. But when the entire premise is to advance a schtick of strong, independent and sassy, that's really, really tiresome. I could get that any time from the girl cliques in high school, and from the bitter coffee klatches at work, and watching the "amen" chorus at church.

It is the same Sh*t, only stated a little differently. Plus, she focuses too much on one case at a time and she will have a new show with the same subject matter as she had 2 months ago. I think she needs to do at least 3 different story lines for each show, otherwise to me it is so boring.

| HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG? Posted: 2/26/2009 2:25:40 PM | | That woman is nutz. I had to stop watching her. I mean, dern-doesn't media make too much out of everything. Some things should just be held instead of giving creeps new ideas. I think that all they do is inspire psychotic behavior or make people afraid to leave their house. Personally, i don't like paranoia, i just like to feel like the little animal in Horton Hears a Who whose world contains people who eat butterflies and poop rainbows (lol) j/k. But anyway, she just isn't a very just person and stubborn..o, how stubborn she is. I believe in innocent until proven guilty. WTF? mate... End of ze world....Look what has happened to some people because of her. She ralley's the rest of the world againt the accused and some people have mobbed these people who she accuses. It's kinda sickening what others have done. I mean are these people who hold signs and aggravate the accused any better than the accused? Creating havock in my opinion is what she does. She's not a reporter she's a drama starter! | |

i recall that she actually drove a woman to suicide regarding the case on her missing son....she should act like a reporter and not as a judge!that is why we have judges
The mother was distressed but Nancy didn't drive anyone to suicide. The mother was the prime suspect in the case. The mistake was appearing on the Nancy Grace show in the first place. She should have declined the interview. I think she was too much in pain and naive to handle the situation.
I liked Nancy when she had the CourtTV channel. Now, its all about her celebrity-ness. The last show I saw regarding her was 2 hours of a non-cancerous surgical procedure. Many women have undergone this but she made it so dramatic.

| HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG? Posted: 3/28/2011 12:06:03 AM | Every time I'm at my mothers and She's on t.v I get disgusted. She thinks shes right about her opinions and anyone who disagrees is wrong. She rudely cuts people off in mid sentence. Shes doesn't care about who she pisses off or the fact that its not uncommon to be retaliated against in this nation. She should watch her mouth before someone watches it for her. You can speak much louder and of greater things by keeping a level head and being considerate of others.-especially when discussing such delicate topics. Rudeness gets nowhere. I just think she's very disrespectful to the people she deals with and by doing that public she's disrespecting everyone. | |

| HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG? Posted: 4/9/2011 7:52:51 PM | | I would rather watch a 12 hr Sham-Wow infomercial marathon than her. She is sooooooooooooooo phony. So classic when she pretends to get all 'choked up' when it comes to emotional cases; she gets that fake whiny, emotional tone in her voice - like it's cracking up...but it's so fake. She is so rude and abrasive and sarcastic to those on the panel (other lawyers, whether district attorney or criminal/defense lawyers). I think she's wicked and she drones on and on and on about things. I find her to be very sensationalistic, as well. She leaves to repeat the gory details of cases, over and over.......all for the shock value, it would seem. Oh, and then she has to never miss a chance to gush over her 2 little angel-babies. Ugh. | |
